Ragtime (1981)

Continuity mistake: During the fight in the back of the speeding wagon, the combatants are in deep shadow in all the close-ups. But in long shots, the wagon is racing through patches of bright moonlight.

Kidnapped (1960)

Trivia: Kidnapped was Disney's only feature film to be released on MCA's ill-fated DiscoVision format. But the movie did launch a famous actor's career: His role as Alan Breck Stewart's bagpipe-playing kinsman, Robin MacGregor, was Peter O'Toole's film debut.

Kidnapped (1960)

Revealing mistake: When David crosses the channel in the ferryman's boat, not only is the rear-screen projection painfully apparent, but the wind blowing in the film footage isn't so much as ruffling a hair on the actors' heads.

Continuity mistake: When Rachel dumps the canned dog food onto Chloe's dish, it's in one large, can-shaped clump. In the next shot, when Chloe approaches it, the food has repositioned itself into three separate chunks so that Chloe can pick one piece up and put it in Rachel's shoe.

The Fugitive (1993)

The Fugitive mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Kimble dives from the top of the dam when Gerard traps him in the tunnel. But in wide shots of Kimble falling, there's no tunnel above the dam. (The tunnel scenes were shot in Chicago, but the location sequences were done at Cheoah Dam in North Carolina - which has no tunnels. The end of the tunnel from which Harrison Ford supposedly jumped was built on the back of a large flatbed truck which was driven out on the top of the dam for the scene).
