Continuity mistake: When Azor is watching the city burn, footage from Quo Vadis is intercut, turning Atlantis into ancient Rome for several scenes. Both cities are scale models, but the Rome set has completely different buildings than those we've seen in the capital city of Atlantis. (01:24:30)

Revealing mistake: When he's speaking to Demetrius, Azor turns his back to the camera, and the zipper in his costume is visible.

Batman (1966)

Continuity mistake: The shots are badly mismatched when Demetrius saves the elderly slave about to fall from the rope. Their arms and legs shift positions multiple times between takes.

Batman (1966)

The Spell of Tut (1) - S2-E7

Factual error: King Tut is said here to have been a 4th Dynasty ruler. Just as in the previous Tut episode, Egyptian history seems to have entirely escaped Batman's writers. They previously mis-identified Tut's namesake as a 14th Dynasty ruler, and this time around, guessed wrong again. In fact, Tutenkamen's brief rule was part of the 18th Dynasty. (00:03:30)

Monk (2002)

Mr. Monk and Mrs. Monk - S4-E6

Continuity mistake: When the Trudy impersonator is talking to Janice's father in the diner, the venetian blinds on the window to his left alternate between raised and lowered positions as the shots change. (00:06:50)

Hawaii Five-O (1968)

3,000 Crooked Miles To Honolulu - S4-E4

Audio problem: During McGarrett's second visit to question the professor, in the midst of their conversation, something off-camera makes a very loud thump. Professionals that they are, Buddy Ebsen and Jack Lord carry on with their lines as though nothing has happened. But this looks just a bit odd, because you wonder why their characters aren't curious about the noise. (00:34:10)

Hawaii Five-O (1968)

3,000 Crooked Miles To Honolulu - S4-E4

Factual error: The professional hitmen murder their victim in the hospital with a silenced .38 revolver. You'd think the mob would know better. Silencers have absolutely no effect on revolvers. They only work on closed-chambered, automatic weapons. (00:46:20)

Tut's Case is Shut (2) - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: Tut's "pets," which are a little too obviously plastic, are crocodiles (with pointed snouts), and they're sitting on a grassy island in their water tank. The stock footage inserts, however, are of alligators (which have flat snouts) swimming in open water, with no island in sight. (00:02:30)

The Hand of God - S1-E24

Factual error: The Cylon commander orders his centurions to "continue into the galaxy." This is roughly tantamount to the GPS in your car instructing you to "continue to the nearest planet." It makes no sense, as they're not entering any other galaxy (nor could they). Yet again, the writer obviously confused his terminologies, and should have written "system," not "galaxy." Speculating that he meant this galaxy is just silly; it's clearly not what was intended. (00:06:45)

The Spell of Tut (1) - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: As Tut prepares to re-animate the scarab beetles, his apothecary henchman stands to his immediate right, close enough to touch his shoulder. But when the shot cuts to a wider angle, the man is standing a foot away. (00:08:45)

Winds of War (1983)

Show generally

Factual error: Part 6: As Roosevelt is getting onto the train, the superimposed title identifies his location as "Silver Springs, Maryland." But he's in Silver Spring (no S), not Silver Springs.

Jean G

The Hand of God - S1-E24

Factual error: Apollo's monitor picks up the "Tranquility Base here: the Eagle has landed" message of the first moon landing, complete with a full shot of the LEM sitting on the moon's surface - not from the onboard or outboard cameras, but from several yards away. There's absolutely nothing to indicate that this is some edited rebroadcast (that's one stretch of a rationalization). The implication is clearly that it's live. And when the Eagle first landed there were, of course, no cameras on the moon. (Nor is it necessary to insist that the series would have to be set in the Earth-time 1960s for this to be so. A live signal could take many, many years to reach the Galactica.) (00:43:30)

Barbecued Batman? (2) - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: Between takes at the end of the final fight scene, most of the chairs shift positions around the table, the wooden partition screen that fell over during the scuffle has somehow folded itself, and a white cloth that was draped over one of the chairs has disappeared. (00:22:00)

Winds of War (1983)

Trivia: Logan Ramsey, who played Senator Ike Lacouture, was the son of the radio operator who sent out the very first alert of the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. Logan Ramsey Sr.'s famous message was, "Air raid, Pearl Harbor. This is no drill!"

Visible crew/equipment: Part 4: The boom's shadow puts in an appearance on the wall behind Captain Henry and Churchill. It's moving just under the painting hanging in the background. (00:49:00)
