Demon With A Glass Hand - S2-E5

Continuity mistake: Trent and the Kiban agent crash through a glass window during their fight in the attic. After Constanza pulls off the alien's medallion and disintegrates him, Trent, who is bent backward at the waist over the windowsill, has instantly moved between takes to a position much farther out onto the ledge.

Audio problem: In the woods, we hear the continuing sound effect of howling wind. But not a leaf is moving on the trees, and Irene and Charlie's clothes and hair aren't even ruffled. (00:23:00)

Continuity mistake: Trent pushes three of the hand-shaped computer's fingers back as far as they will go, as it instructs him to do. In one brief shot after this, the fingers have returned to their normal position. One shot later, they're pushed back again.

Character mistake: Dr. Kagan, who's a scientist and should definitely know better, points to Earth's solar system on the chart and calls it "our galaxy." This is roughly the equivalent of mistaking a dot this size [.] for the entirety of North America. (00:23:30)

Continuity mistake: Henry smashes a wooden rolling pin on the kitchen table, leaving splinters all over it. He then crosses to the cupboards, finds a knife and returns, at which point all the broken pieces of the rolling pin have disappeared. (00:21:15)

Plot hole: After a chance meeting in Mexico, Tom Matthews invites Kelly and Scott to his home for dinner. The address is unlisted, neither knows where the other lives or is staying, and no address or phone information is exchanged before they part. But Kelly and Scott somehow find the house anyway. (00:09:50)

Continuity mistake: When Wellington drags Melanie into the room where the Chinese buyer waits, he's holding her by the elbow. But when the shot cuts to a wider angle, her arm is instantly down at her side instead, and Wellington is standing apart, no longer touching her at all. (00:40:00)

Revealing mistake: Near the end, McGarrett's boat is preceded by the wake of another boat that isn't there when the angle of the shot reverses. The wake belongs to the vessel carrying the camera crew. (00:46:45)

Revealing mistake: When the underwater camera breaks the surface in what is supposed to be open ocean, the domed roof of a Hawaiian aquatic theme park building is visible in the background.

Visible crew/equipment: As Kelly is getting dressed in the hospital room, someone's shadow strolls across the floor in front of him. Scott is standing still, and no one else is there, so the shadow must belong to a film crew member. (00:13:35)
