Star Trek (1966)

The Way to Eden - S3-E20

Revealing mistake: Due to close-ups that were cut in backwards, Kirk appears in reverse, with his uniform insignia on the wrong side, twice in this episode: once in the corridor outside sickbay, and again near the shuttle craft on Eden. (00:18:15 - 00:46:55)

The Way to Eden - S3-E20

Revealing mistake: A re-used sickbay scene taken from an earlier episode causes Nurse Chapel to instantly revert to her old hairdo as the sound waves make her fall unconscious. (00:41:00)

Requiem for Methuselah - S3-E19

Revealing mistake: When Spock examines the unknown Brahms waltz, we get a close-up of the music. Unfortunately, the hand-written score bears no resemblance whatsoever to the piece Spock has just played, though he expressly identifies it as such. (00:19:10)

Night in Question - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: The actor playing the bad guy apparently didn't stick to the script. What he says on the phone, telling Tracy where to meet him, and what she writes down for Nick to find later, don't match at all. (00:35:00)

Shore Leave - S1-E16

Revealing mistake: Stock footage turns the single plane strafing Rodriguez and Angela into two attacking planes for a moment. It becomes one plane again when it flies over Kirk and company. (00:33:40)

Forever Knight (1992)

Night in Question - S3-E10

Plot hole: Because he has no discernible vital signs, the wounded Nick is declared dead in the hospital. When he revives, he's rushed into surgery, where he'd surely have been reattached to a monitor. Somehow, though, no one on the medical staff notices that their patient still has no normal pulse or heartbeat. (00:05:05)

Forever Knight (1992)

Night in Question - S3-E10

Plot hole: When LaCroix arrives at the amnesiac Nick's loft, Nick recognizes him as "the doctor from the hospital." But Nick was still comatose when LaCroix posed as a doctor and came to his room, so he shouldn't remember that particular "doctor." (00:19:45)

Forever Knight (1992)

Night in Question - S3-E10

Factual error: LaCroix visits the comatose Nick in the hospital and detaches a pulse monitor that A) shouldn't be beeping, seeing as it's attached to a vampire, and B) should have immediately sounded an alarm when it was removed. (00:08:30)

That Which Survives - S3-E17

Continuity mistake: When Kirk splits up the landing party, he asks McCoy to further inspect the vegetation. In the two shot, McCoy isn't wearing his tricorder, but in close-up, it's there, strapped over his left shoulder. Cut back to the two shot, though, and it's gone again. (00:10:20)

That Which Survives - S3-E17

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Scott asks Watkins to check the bypass valve, Watkins is facing the engineering boards with both hands on the panel. When we cut to a different angle, however, he's suddenly jumped to a position facing Scott with only one hand on the panel. (00:18:35)

That Which Survives - S3-E17

Continuity mistake: When Losira comes for Kirk, he's holding Sulu's tricorder with both hands. When the angle changes to include her, he has it in one hand with his right hand at his side. Cut back to a three shot of Sulu, Kirk and McCoy, and Kirk has the tricorder in both hands again. (00:36:55)

Forever Knight (1992)

Night in Question - S3-E10

Plot hole: Bullets, which have been passing harmlessly through Nick for two whole seasons, suddenly do him great injury here. And though he's taken to surgery, the bullet lodged in his head is never removed. It's still there on the latest x-ray when LaCroix arrives to "consult" with the doctor. (00:00:05)

Blind Faith - S3-E5

Plot hole: In a major violation of series canon, this episode ends with the vampire doggie (a silly enough premise to begin with) bringing its owner across, a process previously established as complex enough to be far beyond even the smartest canine's capabilities. (00:40:00)

Black Buddha (1) - S3-E1

Factual error: When the Inca is threatening Tracy in Spanish, the translation subtitles read, "He thinks he has invaded me." They were supposed to say, "_evaded_ me." (Note: This has been corrected in the dvd set released 10/06.) (00:41:00)
