Who Shot Mr. Burns? (2) - S7-E1
Corrected entry: The Police and Smithers go to the Retirement Castle to question the old man about Smithers shooting him in the boot; this would be very difficult seeing as the retirement castle was destroyed in Part 1.
Tree House of Horror VI - S7-E6
Corrected entry: In "Attack Of The 50 ft. Eyesores", Kent Brockman is eaten or crushed by a giant version of himself. He then appears at the end of the segment, intact. (00:02:35 - 00:06:25)
Correction: The Tree House of Horror episodes show many people dying and coming back. They are meant as Halloween specials and as such they do not follow normal logic.
dgemba dgembaCorrected entry: The person Homer tries to prank with the bucket of cement is a different person to the one he ran over 5 years ago.
Correction: That actually makes a lot of sense, it being a different person. When Homer ran the dean over, he caused pretty serious damage (he was in a full body cast). A paralyzed dean probably wouldn't be able to do his job, and since he re-admitted the students who were expelled the board had a go-ahead to fire him.
Midnight Rx - S16-E6
Corrected entry: In this episode Apu says in the car on the way to Canada that he worships several gods. But in a much earlier episode, "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" during a flashback when Apu is asked to change his name he says "It is a great dishonour to my ancestors and my god."
OL1V3R666Correction: Apu is a Hindu. Hinduism teaches that there is in fact only one god (Brahman), but that it manifests itself in many different ways, such as Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesha etc. Each of these manifestations can be worshipped as a deity, and most Hindus chooses which manifestation to worship (the "personal" aspect of the deity, Ishvara). But ultimately all prayers and sacrifices are directed to the same entity. As we can see through the entire series, Apu worships Ganesha primarily, but he would recognize other forms of god, called Devas, which often translates as "gods". It is not entirely accurate, but that's the problem with translation. So there is nothing wrong with him expressing both a monotheistic and polytheistic wiew of the world.
TwotallCorrected entry: How can Mr. Burns dance so well? On several previous occasions it has been made obvious that he is weak and feeble.
Andy Benham
Correction: Burns is more weak when it comes to strength, i.e. lifting or moving items even ones that are particularly light. Something like walking and dancing is not as much of a problem. He also has danced before. In the episode "Hunka Hunka Burns in Love" he managed to dance (with some assistance from an oxygen tank in his jacket pocket).

The Springfield Files - S8-E10
Corrected entry: After Homer comes in contact with the alien and he's reporting the sighting to Police Chief Wiggum, he says "And the alien appears every friday night." How could he know that if he only saw the alien once?
Matthew Gem
Correction: Homer doesn't know this; he is just making a very rash assumption about the alien sightings.
One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish - S2-E11
Corrected entry: At the start of the episode, you see the meatloaf inside a metal tin in the microwave. Heat waves reflect off metal, so the microwave should have been blown up.
OL1V3R666Correction: Putting metal in a microwave doesn't make it blow up, it just creates sparks everywhere.
Andy Benham
The Simpson's 138th Show Spectacular - S7-E10
Corrected entry: In this episode Troy shows us that when Maggie is scanned it says "NRA4EVR". If you pause any other episode you will see that when Maggie is scanned it reads "$847.63".
Correction: Not a mistake, it's a joke.
Andy Benham
Corrected entry: Bart's cell phone has 9 buttons. Real phones have 12 buttons.
Correction: There are phones for children where the numbers are preprogammed by parents so they can't just call anyone. These don't have 12 buttons.
tw_stuartCorrected entry: When Red is declared the winner of the eating contest and dies, just before he is pronouced dead by Dr. Hibbert he blinks. Last time I checked dead people don't blink.
Correction: He blinks and then is pronounced dead, seems OK to me. If it happened the other way round then it's a mistake.
tw_stuartCorrected entry: Mr Burns says to Abe that he has just made a powerful enemy, it's as if he has only just met him. Yet in a later episode we find out that Abe and Burns were in the "Flying Hellfish" regiment in WW2.
MigsterCorrected entry: In this episode Dr. Hibbert says the crayon was never spotted because he always covered it with his thumb, but in episode 4-18, "So It's Come to This: A Simpson's Clip Show", when Homer is in the hospital, his head X-ray is placed up on the light box on the wall, and is visible with nothing blocking it, so the crayon should have been spotted then.
Correction: The joke in the scene is that there really is no way to explain why or how he would miss a large crayon in Homer's brain after all these years, numerous injuries and many x-rays. Even if he should have seen it, its a character mistake. As you pointed out there was no way he should have missed it but either he really did miss it everytime or is lying to cover up his mistake.
Lummie
Corrected entry: In this episode, Fat Tony's given name is Anthony D'Amico. But in "Bart the Murderer", his given name is William Williams.
Correction: Just like any other Mafia boss, he has many different Aliases.
MigsterCorrected entry: When Selma is in the bath with a cigarette, she sinks under the water dragging the cigarette with her. However, if you look and listen very closely, the sound of the cigarette being extinguished happens very slightly before it actually makes contact with the water.
Correction: In the shot as she is just about to go under the water, you can see the cigarette start to glow a bit redder. This would mean Selma is inhaling as she is going under the water. As she would be inhaling, a small area below the lit area would start to get hotter and so would make sense that the sound of it being extinguished just a split second before the lit area goes under the water.

Tree House of Horror XII - S13-E1
Corrected entry: In the leprechaun short episode, a lot of things attend the wedding, including Kang and Kodos, the space aliens. One of Kang/Kodos starts crying and says: "I always secrete ocular fluid at weddings." Yet, in another clip episode, the space aliens invade Homer's Roasting Hour. Lisa thinks they're crying, but they say that they are vomiting from their eyes. Yet, in this episode, one of them starts to cry.
Correction: The key words here are "they say". We have no idea if they are telling the truth or if they are crying when they tell this to Lisa. Besides this, we also have no idea about how the bodies of the aliens work. It could be that both their crying AND their vomiting takes place through the same channels (the tearducts).
TwotallGump Roast - S13-E17
Corrected entry: When Homer starts to remember all the memories he has had with the Simpson family car, one of the clips is actually from an episode in which Homer was stealing Moe's car which isn't the family car.
Corrected entry: When the woman in Krusty's studio says that the wolf gets spooked by loud noises, Krusty mentions "loud" as the day's secret word. There are video cameras in sight, indicating that it was being aired on TV. The only problem is, it's not going to be the secret word any longer if it is revealed like that.
OL1V3R666Correction: That's the point. Its a spoof of Pee Wee's play house where if a guest said the secret word noises and lights would go off and everybody cheers and yells. It would not ruin anything because it's just a fun play along gag for the kids at home and in the studio to play and get into. I believe the secret word is reveled at the beginning to the audience, just not the guests.
Spaceboy_007Corrected entry: Marge is reminding Lisa of the differences between the UK and the USA before she goes to visit Hugh's family in England. Obviously the steak-and-kidney pie remark is a joke, but she says, "Remember, a mile is called a kilometer..." No it isn't. The metric system is used in mainland Europe - miles over here are still miles.
He's My BrotherCorrection: This is clearly a mistake on Marge's part, as she is unfamiliar with European life and makes things up based on expressions she vaguely remember hearing about. And isn't it possible, since this episode takes place in the future, that the UK has joined the rest of Europe and switched to the metric system?
TwotallAnd Maggie Makes Three - S6-E13
Corrected entry: When Marge tells Homer that a new baby is on the way (Maggie obviously) look in the background and you can see a photo of Maggie already there.
Hamster
Corrected entry: During the opening dream sequence on the "Planet of the Donuts", we get our first glimpse of the monster donut that will eat Homer when his shadow looms over Homer. In this shot the shadow is of a "regular" donut, i.e., one with a hole. In the next shot we see that the monster's hole area has teeth and is filled in with black; in other words, its hole is a regular mouth. As such it could not have had light shining through it to make the donut hole in his shadow.
Correction: It is a dream. Dreams don't make any sense and are not bound by any laws of reality. The donut could have grown teeth and a mouth between shots.

Correction: We've seen on countless occasions that the retirement home is a very poorly kept one. We also know the old folks are stubborn there. Just because it split in half probably wouldn't be enough to make most of them move out. It wasn't entirely destroyed in part one, just split and at an angle.
