Corrected entry: When Judge Harm snaps her flashlight in half it's still lit.
Half-Decent Proposal - S13-E10
Corrected entry: Artie says that he has been thinking about Marge for the last 20 years. However, we have seen in previous episodes that Marge got pregnant with Bart just out of high school, and he is 10. They can't have graduated more than 11 years ago.
Correction: Marge got pregnant with Bart in 1980 (See Episode: I Married Marge, Season 3). They married soon after this. This is to do with the slightly larger plot hole of everyone in the Simpsons always being the same age (at least they stopped aging after 1990 when the show started). This is a cartoon convention and not a mistake.
Correction: In the episode "that 90s show", Lisa discovers that Homer and Marge are nearly 40 and Bart is 10 so they must have had Bart when they were 30. Assuming they graduated high school at 18, that gives 10 years before having a child and the 10 years after which is 20 years, so Artie is correct.
Half-Decent Proposal - S13-E10
Corrected entry: Artie Ziff is upset to discover that Marge is married. But not only does he address her as "Marge Simpson" and not "Marge Bouvier" at first, but 5 series ago he met Homer and Marge at a school reunion and Homer said that Marge was his wife.
Corrected entry: When Homer and Marge find Mrs. Bellamy's body, the body is shown to be neatly placed on the ground with Bellamy lying on her back. Homer then lifts up the body and it is shown that there is a pair of scissors stuck in her back. If scissors were stabbed in her back, then this means it wouldn't be possible for the body to be neatly placed on the floor lying on her back, as the scissors would cause the body to push upwards. (00:09:50)
Correction: Since the murder was revealed as a hoax at the end of the episode, the scissors were probably fake as well.
Tree House of Horror XII - S13-E1
Corrected entry: In the leprechaun short episode, a lot of things attend the wedding, including Kang and Kodos, the space aliens. One of Kang/Kodos starts crying and says: "I always secrete ocular fluid at weddings." Yet, in another clip episode, the space aliens invade Homer's Roasting Hour. Lisa thinks they're crying, but they say that they are vomiting from their eyes. Yet, in this episode, one of them starts to cry.
Correction: The key words here are "they say". We have no idea if they are telling the truth or if they are crying when they tell this to Lisa. Besides this, we also have no idea about how the bodies of the aliens work. It could be that both their crying AND their vomiting takes place through the same channels (the tearducts).
Gump Roast - S13-E17
Corrected entry: When Homer starts to remember all the memories he has had with the Simpson family car, one of the clips is actually from an episode in which Homer was stealing Moe's car which isn't the family car.
Corrected entry: How can the citizens of Springfield, notably Chief Wiggum and Homer, not know that the whole murder was a reality show? If FRAME UP was the highest rated reality show on FOX, surely there'd be promos for it on TV and in TV Guides.
Corrected entry: When Mr Smithers' father is about to go into the reactor core, he says that if it blows then the whole town is doomed. But he has the door wide open and nothing seems to be happening to him, Mr Burns or Smithers Jr.
Corrected entry: In this episode, Milhouse tells Bart that he is only 12 years old, but in most other episodes it says he is just ten. So now that he has aged by 2 years, how come Maggie doesn't look any older?
Correction: The characters never age in the Simpsons despite their age varying between certain episodes. Milhouse is actually the same age as Bart as in a previous episode he was in the same class as Bart in his first year of school. Fact is why dont any of the characters look any older other than just Maggie?
Correction: Her flashlight turns off as soon as she breaks it in half. It does not stay lit.
