Continuity mistake: When Lisa enters the taxi and we see the door being closed, the camera turns into the full view of the taxi in the next shot, and now we see that the door (the one with company logo on it) has changed its shape between shots.

Continuity mistake: When we first see the "Whack-a-Satan" game at Praiseland, there are three rows of holes the little devil dolls emerge from. After Nelson turns towards Flanders, the game is seen behind him, now with only two rows of holes.


The Heartbroke Kid - S16-E17

Continuity mistake: When Bart and Tab Spangler arrive at the Simpson house, Mr. Spangler points out the belt he is wearing to Bart. But as he leaves Bart and walks to his car, he is suddenly not wearing a belt at all.


Bart the Lover - S3-E16

Continuity mistake: When Bart writes the first letter as Woodrow, he writes it on lined paper. However the letter Edna reads is on plain paper. (00:07:30)

Continuity mistake: In the classroom scene in the school Nelson is beating on Milhouse and leaves his head black, but when they go to get graded Milhouse is in front of Lisa (not Nelson) and his head is normal.

Continuity mistake: The text on the billboard which says "She's having a baby...again!" is black when Mel Gibson and Homer crash through it. After they have landed on the ground, the text on the billboard is white.

Continuity mistake: When Homer is first interviewed for 'Rock Bottom', the clock behind him stays at 5 O'Clock for the duration of the interview, but when the interview is actually shown on the TV, the times keep changing. The hands on the clock are also slightly different.

Continuity mistake: When Luke jumps off of the horse to save the rattlesnake egg, the horse changes from being beside Luke to beside Lisa between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the family are driving home from the cinema, Bart draws an angry face on the back of Homer's head. It is never there at any other point in that night.

Continuity mistake: When we first see the medicine cabinet in the Simpson's bathroom the hinges are on the left. When Homer pokes it with the wire it opens as if the hinges are on the other side. The last time we see it, when Lisa rescues Maggie, the door is missing altogether. (00:01:25)

Continuity mistake: When Lisa is explaining about subliminal tapes to Homer, there is a robot on the cover of the magazine, whose helmet is yellow. But in other parts of the episode, it is grey.


Saturdays of Thunder - S3-E9

Continuity mistake: In the video store, when Homer looks at sports tapes, the categories of movies behind him change from drama, horror, and 'Elvis' to drama, western and horror. (00:05:55)


Marge Simpson in 'Screaming Yellow Honkers' - S10-E15

Continuity mistake: After Marge pulls out of the Store, she gets stuck at a traffic jam. But when she does pull up, all of the groceries in the back have disappeared.

How I Spent My Strummer Vacation - S14-E2

Continuity mistake: When everyone is getting guitars, Homer is among the people who are waving their hands to get one but in the scene before it, when they are in the cabin, Homer already had one.

Continuity mistake: This is a mistake for the introduction from seasons 2-20 (1991-2009). When Homer screams, he turns round. You see this in a wide shot. There are no boxes to the right of the door in the garage. However, two just appear out of thin air when he runs through the garage. (00:01:50)
