Best TV continuity mistakes of 1989
Continuity mistake: This is a mistake for the introduction from seasons 2-20 (1991-2009). When Homer screams, he turns round. You see this in a wide shot. There are no boxes to the right of the door in the garage. However, two just appear out of thin air when he runs through the garage.
Continuity mistake: As Sam is preparing to go on stage as Don Quixote, after catching the lead actor, a quick cut to Dulcinea dancing is shown. It is supposed to be Sam's love interest and ex piano teacher Nicole as Dulcinea. However, you can see Nicole standing in the background, in the pink outfit she was wearing in scenes from the beginning of the episode.
Continuity mistake: Right in the beginning of the title sequence, Zelda and Link walk into a room and see the Triforce of Wisdom. Zelda even says it is the Triforce of Wisdom. It is green. But throughout the entire show in the episodes, the Triforce of Wisdom is shown as blue.
Continuity mistake: Poirot is holding up a letter in an envelope. He turns it to show the front to Lady Mayfield. The flap of the envelope appears to be tucked in. The shot cuts to a close-up, but now the back of the envelope is facing Lady Mayfield and the flap is sealed. He then turns the envelope to show her the front.
Continuity mistake: When Hayden starts doing his good luck routine, there is a football on the left side of the couch on a pillow. When he stands on the couch the ball rolls off the pillow. When he steps off the couch the ball is suddenly on the other side of the couch. The next shot the ball is back on the pillow.
