Continuity mistake: Bakura places his hourglass token and an hourglass on the table in front of him while explaining his plan to the Pharaoh. Later, when Bakura says his game piece has doubled in overall strength, the hourglass and hourglass token cannot be seen on the table. The items reappear on the table after the Pharaoh asks what he did to Aknadin. (00:13:08)

Continuity mistake: When Shada is berating Mana for knowing the Pharoah's whereabouts, she is standing directly behind the Pharoah. Bobasa then says something to Shada, prompting her to lean to the left in his direction and shush him. The shot cuts, and Mana is now directly behind the Pharoah without leaning to the left. In the next shot after that, she is leaning to the left again so that she can face Shada. (00:07:20)

When they stop running, Joey is ahead of Tristan, Tea, and Yugi, while Yugi is behind Tristan and Tea. When the shot cuts to reveal the river, all four of them are aligned with one another. Continuity mistake: When Pharoah is hanging over the edge of the cliff, Bakura stomps over the area that Pharoah is holding onto, causing a piece of ground to break off and Pharoah falls into the chasm. A few seconds later, when the others run up to the edge of the cliff, the piece of ground that broke off can no longer be seen and the edge of the cliff is intact. (00:12:45)

Continuity mistake: Aknadin is looking at a tablet of the Millennium Puzzle on a wall, where there are tablets for the three Egyptian gods around it. The tablet to the left of the Millennium Puzzle tablet and the tablet to its right are an inch apart from one another. Then the shot cuts, and the tablets are further apart by a few more inches. There are five webs around his abdomen that all join together at the centre of his chest.
