Continuity mistake: There is a sweat stain on Sam's jumper after he finishes jogging with Steve. As he lies against a tree, the stain is around the neck area and some of it is partway down his jumper. When Steve helps him up, the stain has reduced to just sweat around his neck. (00:01:40)

Continuity mistake: After Steve and Sam finish their jog, Sam is lying against a tree. When Sam says to Steve that he ran thirteen miles in 30 minutes, his hand is placed on his leg. In the next shot, his hand has suddenly moved way further up his leg. (00:01:25)

Trivia: The film producers actually put a lot of thought into Steve's notebook of things to catch up on. The producers thought it would have been a good idea to show Steve's notebook as a way to see that Steve Rogers is a man out of time. Since the idea is that Captain America can feel like he's a hero, not just for America, but the whole world, the producers set up an internet campaign from each different territory to weigh in on the different things Steve would have in his notebook. The campaign would work as the people would have to vote on 20 things Steve could have missed in the last 70 years. The top 5 vote getters from each country ended up getting implemented into each region's version of the film. The bottom 5 options (Thai food, Star Wars/Trek, Nirvana (band), Rocky (Rocky II?) and the Troubleman soundtrack) remained in each version of the film. (00:02:30)

Gravity (2013)

Continuity mistake: On the way to the ISS, Matt asks Ryan where's home. Ryan replies "What?" and Matt says "Down there. Mother Earth." Behind Matt as he says this is the rope keeping Matt and Ryan tethered together drifting around. At the end of the shot, the part of the rope shown in front of Ryan is shown to be drifting around differently to when it cuts to a shot of Ryan. (00:25:00)

The Avengers mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye are fighting their way through the Chitauri in the S.H.I.E.L.D. jet, one shot shows the Chitauri blasting at the jet causing part of the front of one side to get blasted and a burn mark is left on the jet. A few seconds later, Loki blasts one of the engines and the burn mark on the front of the jet has vanished. (01:40:35)

The Avengers (2012)

Continuity mistake: After the Chitauri have arrived, Loki stands on the Stark Tower balcony and looks on New York. In this shot, Loki is standing facing the city directly, but by the next shot, he's suddenly standing 90° in the other direction with his head turned to the right, in order to be looking the same way as in the previous shot. The Avengers mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Hawkeye is breaking onto the Helicarrier, he and some snipers break down a duct cover and enter. When the cover lands on the floor, it is resting away from some pipes with some slats missing. As soon as Hawkeye enters the duct, the cover is now resting against the pipes, and the slats have reappeared. (01:10:35)

The Avengers (2012)

Continuity mistake: After Hawkeye fires an arrow at the Helicarrier and part of it explodes, Bruce and Romanoff are knocked out of the room and land on a lower level. As they land, they are shown to be right next to each other, but when they are shown next, the distance between the two has increased by at least two feet. (01:09:45 - 01:10:25)

Continuity mistake: As Nick Fury and Selvig are talking about the Tesseract, an overview shot is shown where Fury says "I assumed you pulled the plug" and Selvig says "She's an energy source." This shot shows Fury and Selvig in the far background and we can see they are standing even with each other, but in a sudden close-up of the two, Selvig is suddenly standing in front of Fury. Devil (2010)

Question: When Tony is trying to close the dead old woman's eyes, the security guard states the body has to be dead for a few hours in order for the eyes to close. Is this true?

Casual Person

Chosen answer: Yes. When the body dies, gasses begin escaping through any way they can, and can force the eyes to stay open. This is also true for a body that has been dead for several hours, once decay starts, the decaying causes gasses. But also when the body is freshly dead, the muscles and nerves are confused and keep firing for a long time, causing muscle spasms like feet and hands wiggling on the deceased, or even eyes popping open suddenly as if the person is awake. This is why the eye lids are sown shut on bodies at funerals and stuff, to prevent the eyes from popping open and freaking out the people viewing. And in older times, coins would be places over the eyes to hold them shut.

Gravity (2013)

Continuity mistake: Just after Matt retrieves Ryan, Matt tells her to set her watch timer for 90 minutes, which she then does. A shot is then shown of Ryan's arm adjusting the watch timer to 90 minutes and the time on the watch reads 00:32. Later on, when Ryan is in the Soyuz capsule, she looks at her watch and says "Seven minutes to get out of here." It is shown that the time on her watch reads 02:21 (1h 49m later) but the timer reads 7 minutes and 26 seconds left of the 90 minutes. (00:19:10 - 00:46:30)

Gravity (2013)

Audio problem: Ryan is on the International Space Station and looking through the window in an attempt to communicate with Matt. During this transmission, Ryan says "Please talk to me. Please." When she says "Please" the second time, her lips move before the word can be heard. Her lips are very visible through the reflection of the window. (00:42:15)

Gravity (2013)

Continuity mistake: When Ryan and Matt reach the ISS, as Ryan says "Wait, you have to brake!" the ISS is visible from the POV of Ryan. About two shots later, another shot of the ISS is from Ryan's POV, only now they are way further away from the ISS than they were two shots previously. The second shot may appear a bit confusing because it is at a different angle, but they are definitely much further in the second shot. (00:29:40)

Gravity (2013)

Factual error: Ryan states to Matt that her O2 pressure is low (which is the oxygen in her suit) just as they are about to reach the International Space Station and Matt points out she still has oxygen in her suit. Then as Ryan and Matt launch themselves onto the International Space Station, Ryan keeps panicking, hyperventilating and breathing heavily for the next few minutes and eventually she runs out of O2 as she starts to climb into the station. If Ryan only had CO2 in her suit and she had been heavily breathing for that long, she would definitely have run out of oxygen within a minute, she would never have gone this long without it. Gravity (2013)

Continuity mistake: Just as Ryan and Matt are about to bump into Shariff's body, the POV shot of Ryan shows Ryan shielding her face with her hands. It can be noticed her right hand is positioned in a shifted 10 o'clock direction. Instantly as soon as the next shot starts, her right hand is now in a 12 o'clock direction, not shifted at all. The Simpsons Game (2007)

Bug: Game Over: When battling God, several dead people charge after you and you have to jump onto each of the arrow keys that the dead people walk onto in order to electrocute them. Sometimes during this (mostly during round 3), if you jump onto the arrow key the dead person runs onto, the arrow key may not electrocute the dead person running onto it.
