Revealing mistake: After Anubis' last monster has been destroyed, the other main characters begin cheering. Tea has her hands placed on a handrail, but her fingers appear to be unnaturally thin, especially when compared to everyone else's. (01:16:16)

Plot hole: While arguing with Anubis in his head, Kaiba thinks to himself, "I wanted a perfect victory, and with this card, I can use Yugi's most powerful monsters against him." Later, when Yugi uses Kaiba's Return from the Different Dimension trap card (which was the card that Kaiba intended to use on Yugi), he says, "When Kaiba spoke of dealing me the perfect defeat, he meant wiping me out with my own Egyptian Gods," but Kaiba never said this to him. He only thought it to himself, so Yugi shouldn't know this. (01:05:40 - 01:15:10)

Continuity mistake: After the Pyramid of Light has been destroyed, Anubis summons Theinen the Great Sphinx to the field. In the shot of him extending his hand just before the monster is summoned, his index finger and middle finger appear to be pointed upwards, while his two other fingers appear to be pointed downwards. In the next shot, all of his fingers are pointed downwards. (01:13:45)

Other mistake: The card that Yugi draws on his final turn is a spell card called Diffusion Wave-Motion. He then activates the spell card, but says, "I activate Double Spell," and says he can use a spell card from his opponent's graveyard (which is exactly what activating Double Spell allows him to do). Clearly, the Diffusion Wave-Motion card was shown in his hand by mistake and should've been Double Spell that was shown. (01:10:30 - 01:11:56)

Kaiba sets a face-down card on the field, but the shadow that the card casts on the ground doesn't match the card floating above. The card is a rectangular shape, but the shadow appears to have bumps along the sides that aren't shown on the card. (01:03:01)
