Continuity mistake: When Mercer tells Mae to look at these people, there are people seen filming them. Towards the left of shot are two people filming, with one slightly behind the other. When one of the people filming says why doesn't he just kill some more deer, that person filming is all on his own, with no-one else shown near him. (00:47:00)

One of them asks "why doesn't he just kill some more deer?" and Mercer tells him he never killed any deer. The shot then cuts back to the man filming and another woman can also be seen filming standing in the exact same direction, but when the scene is shown from another person's camera, the same woman filming has suddenly changed position. Continuity mistake: When Mae videos phones Annie, she rotates the phone to a landscape position, and has her hand along the top of the phone. Once the call has been made, she lowers the phone slightly, and moves her hand from the top of the phone, to along the side. The shot then cuts to the phone, and her hand is suddenly along the top of the phone again. (01:27:05)

Revealing mistake: When Mae is on the phone with her parents, there is a camera feed shown of the parents, and in the bottom right hand corner, a camera feed of Mae. When Mae is holding the phone, her hand is visibly seen shaking and readjusts the phone at numerous points, the camera feed of her shown on the phone remains completely still throughout the call. Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bailey is giving a speech about linking vehicles to The Circle, there is a shot from behind him where he walks in front of the stool onstage, but a few shots later, he is suddenly behind the stool, about to walk past it a second time. (01:35:00)

Continuity mistake: When Baze shoots all the Stormtroopers, he begins walking over to Chirrut. Chirrut is seen placing two hands on the top of his staff, and then puts one hand lower down on the staff, holding it with just that hand. In the next shot, he is suddenly holding the staff with both hands. (00:35:55)

Factual error: When they are trying to navigate the shuttle through Eadu, the shuttle abruptly collides with a rock, which causes Bodhi to jolt backwards. If the shuttle hitting the rock had caused the shuttle reduce speed so abruptly, in the way that was shown, then Bodhi would have jolted forwards, not backwards. (00:57:05)

Continuity mistake: After the facility on Eadu is ambushed by the Rebellion, Krennic is escorted back to his ship and looks back at Galen Erso's body. When he looks over, Galen is shown with his right leg completely straight and his left leg at an angle, but when he is next seen, a few shots later, it is now his left leg completely straight and his right leg at an angle.
