Continuity mistake: When George enters The Cafe near the start, he takes Jerry's plate and begins eating the fries. After finishing the first fry, his hands are on the plate. Jerry then asks him what happened, and suddenly he has a fry in his hands which are also now raised slightly.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When Homer has chocolate balls dropped onto his hands, check out the arrow pointing to Fudgetown behind him. Behind the sign are three lollipops sticking out of the ground, most likely to be flowers. In the next shot, the lollipops are suddenly in front of the sign. The size of the lollipops also change.

Continuity mistake: Bartman Begins: After Bart has bought the Grand Theft Scratchy game, he begins to walk away from the store. From the exterior shot, he is shown walking past the window. The shot then changes and Bart is suddenly yet to walk by the window.

Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: At the start of the dream, Homer is standing under a "Land of Chocolate" sign. Three chocolate rabbits hop by Homer, and Homer begins hopping with them. The chocolate rabbits have a light chocolate colour as they hop by, but by the following shot, their skin has become a lot darker.

Trivia: The Land of Chocolate: When the Simpsons are watching TV, if you listen to the TV, you'll hear that an advert for the game Grand Theft Scratchy is playing. Grand Theft Scratchy ends up being a part of the plot later in the game.

By the time she meets up with Daniel, the card is no longer pushed up against the coffee cup, but instead in one of the other fingers. At this moment, Merritt is resting on a pillow with a T sign stitched onto it. When the woman yells "Are you kidding me?", the left shoelace is lying over the left side of the shoe, but when Daniel approaches the shoe in the next shot, the shoelace isn't in the same place. Continuity mistake: At the start of the scene where Dylan and Alma are having lunch with Thaddeus, Dylan asks Thaddeus "So you were a magician first?" At the end of the line, he lowers his hand, but by the next shot, his hand is suddenly raised, placed on his chin. Theatrical version only.

Continuity mistake: As Merritt puts the wife to sleep, the first shot shows a woman visible in the background leaning against one of the columns then takes a step forward to talk to someone sitting. In the next shot from further away, the woman in the background is no where to be seen, then when the camera goes back to Merritt and the couple, the woman is there again. Revealing mistake: After the banker has picked out his card, Daniel says "Show it your friends in Section B. But not to us." As he says this, visible in the background is a television with a live feed from the stage. On the television, we can see Henley walking around the stage, but the movements of Henley on the TV don't match up with what Henley is doing onstage - on the live TV feed, she is shown looking up at the audience, but on the stage at the same moment she is looking at the banker. Also, Jack walks right by her and he is never shown on the TV. (00:19:25)
