In this shot, Alexis and two other Obelisk Blue students can be seen behind Jaden, Syrus and Chumley laughing. Doomsday Duel: Part 2 - S1-E30
Other mistake: Jaden activates the spell card Silent Doom and summons Elemental Hero Sparkman to the field in defence mode. He then activates the field spell Fusion Gate, but when he goes to insert the card into his duel disk, Sparkman is shown at a portrait angle on the duel disk, indicating that it is in attack mode instead of defence mode. Other mistake: When Jaden has Elemental Hero Wildheart attack Chazz directly, Chazz's life points go down to 2100. Chazz's life point count remains this way for a large chunk of the duel, but when Elemental Hero Flame Wingman destroys Armed Dragon LV7, Chazz's life point count is 2800. Technically speaking, Chazz does lose the correct number of life points since his go down to 1600 and there was a 500-point difference between the two monsters, but his life points shouldn't have been listed as 2800. Continuity mistake: After Chumley realises the water is shallow, Jaden and Syrus remerge after the raft Syrus builds fall apart. In the shot of them standing up, the log closest to Jaden has a rope wrapped around it twice. When it cuts to a closer shot of Jaden and Syrus, the log next to him only has the rope wrapped around it once. (00:07:57)

Duel and Unusual Punishment - S1-E7
Continuity mistake: After Chumley returns from Chancellor Shephard's office, in the shot where Jaden says "Well, you did lead us to the cafeteria", Jaden is holding six cards in his hand. The cards are side-by-side, with each card on top of the other. But in the next shot, the second card is suddenly under the first card. He also loses one of the cards in between shots, with there being six cards in the first shot, then five in the next. (00:05:00)

Other mistake: When Jaden realises his arm is fading away, the Elemental Hero Clayman card shown on his duel disk is shaded orange. It should be shaded yellow, as it is not an effect monster, and effect monsters are shaded yellow. The same mistake occurs around a minute when the Shadow Duelist says, "It's your move, but make it count, it may be your last." (00:17:28 - 00:18:22)

Revealing mistake: After the Shadow Duelist has activated the effect of Terrorking Archfiend and the flame has landed on the ball labelled 2, just as he says, "Mirror Gate is shattered", the card shown on his duel disk is misshapen, where two corners of the card are curved, instead of being straight. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (2004)
Character mistake: The Shadow Duelist activates the effect of Terrorking Archfiend, where he states if the monster is targeted by an opponent's card, a number between 1 and 6 is chosen at random, and if the number selected is 2 or 5, then Terrorking Archfiend won't be affected by it. Chumley then states the odds are in Jaden's favour, to which Syrus dismisses this, saying he flunked math. However, Chumley is actually correct, as the odds for Jaden are 4 in 6, whereas the odds for the duelist are 2 in 6. (00:15:45 - 00:16:09)

Continuity mistake: Crowler opens his trench coat to Chazz and his friends to reveal the rare cards. The cards are displayed in the boat as three separate rows, all equally distanced from one another. A couple seconds later, in the shot of Crowler saying "What's the matter, Chazz? Don't recognise me", the top row of cards is suddenly further away from the other two rows. (00:08:10)

Duel Distractions: Part 1 - S1-E36
Stupidity: When Bastion shouts during the duelling exercise, Syrus and Chumley fall over and drop their cards. About 15 seconds later, Chumley stands back up, but leaves some of his cards scattered on the floor. First, his cards could have got dirty or damaged, so Chumley deciding to leave them on the ground is very foolish. Second, Bastion doesn't seem bothered that the cards are still on the ground, despite the whole point of the exercise is about being ready for duelling. (00:04:05)
