The card next to Dark Magician appears to be a monster card where an axe is featured in the artwork. Over a minute later, when Arkana realises he'll have to discard the cards in his hand, the monster card next to Dark Magician has been replaced with a different monster card (possibly Alligator Sword, a card used by Joey in the previous episode). With his right hand, he puts his fingers on the top of the card, then rotates his hand 180 degrees and rotates the card 180 degrees in doing so. Then a close-up of the card is shown where it is right side up, meaning that the cards in his hand must have been upside down if the card was right side up after being rotated. (00:01:50)
