Yu-Gi-Oh!

One Step Ahead: Part One - S5-E10

Other mistake: When Kaiba summons Pitch-Dark Dragon to the field, there is one other card in his hand. He then sets a card face-down, which would mean that he has no more cards in his hand. But at the start of his next turn, right before he draws a card from his deck, there is already one card in his hand, even though he would have had no more cards in his hand at the end of his previous turn. Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2

Other mistake: When Yugi starts losing Life Points after Petit Dragon is destroyed, the Life Point count appears to be well over 4000 when his points start to go down, even though duelists begin duels with 4000 Life Points. (00:05:08)

The Final Duel: Part 2 - S5-E38

Other mistake: Yugi activates Mirage Spell, which allows him to gain life points equal to the amount that Slifer the Sky Dragon was going to take from Valkyrion the Magna Warrior. Yugi's life points are then shown going from 850 up to 3400. However, Yugi's life points before this were 1400, not 850. He even says it increases his life points by 2000. (00:10:08)

The Dark One Cometh: Part 3 - S5-E33

Other mistake: Yugi uses Spirit Sword of Sealing to remove Silent Swordsman LV7 from the field. When the monster card is pinned against the wall, it is shown to have 4000 attack points. These are the attack points for Silent Swordsman LV6, whereas Silent Swordsman LV7 has 4500 attack points. (00:16:42)

One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11

Other mistake: When Kaiba summons Chaos Emperor Dragon, in the shot of him placing the monster card on the duel disk, the only other card in his hand is the Emergency Provisions spell card. On the same turn, he sets a face-down card, which he could only have gotten from the cards in his hand. Then he activates Emergency Provisions, and two additional cards can be seen in his hand. This would mean that there would have been four cards in his hand overall, even though he only had one card earlier in the turn. (00:14:05 - 00:14:35)

One Step Ahead: Part One - S5-E10

Other mistake: When Kaiba activates Pot of Greed, there is one card in his left hand. He then draws two more cards from his deck, but then there are only two cards that can be seen in his hand, even though there should be a total of three cards in his hand overall. (00:15:57)

Child's Play - S5-E5

Other mistake: Rebecca activates Graceful Charity, which allows her to draw three cards and discard two. One of the cards she discards is Marie the Fallen One, which is shaded yellow, indicating that it is a Normal Monster and does not have an effect. Later, it's revealed Marie the Fallen One has an effect that allows Rebecca to gain 200 life points every turn, meaning it is an Effect Monster and should have been shaded orange. Unwanted Guest: Part Two - S5-E2

Other mistake: When Slate Warrior is destroyed by Luster Dragon, the DuelTek's life points go down to 3400. However, the points begin counting down from over 4000. First, duelists only have 4000 life points at the start of a duel, and second, the DuelTek's life points were 3700 at the end of the previous turn due to Luster Dragon destroying Airknight Parshath. A Duel with Dartz: Part 6 - S4-E38

Other mistake: When Yugi has Timaeus absorb the effect of Big Shield Gardna, the Big Shield Gardna monster card is shaded yellow, which would indicate it is a Normal Monster and does not have an effect. Since Big Shield Gardna is an Effect Monster, it should be shaded orange, not yellow. (00:19:43)

Casual Person

A Duel with Dartz: Part 2 - S4-E34

Other mistake: When Yugi summons Big Shield Gardna, the Monster Card is shaded yellow. Monster Cards that are shaded yellow are Normal Monsters, meaning that they have no effect. However, Big Shield Gardna has an effect, meaning that it is an Effect Monster and should be shaded orange. (00:18:56)

A Duel with Dartz: Part 2 - S4-E34

Other mistake: After Yugi activates De-Fusion, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon returns to Kaiba's side of the field. Seconds later, when Dartz is saying "and I assure you, it has nothing to do with teamwork or friendship," the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card can be seen on Kaiba's duel disk, instead of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. On the Wrong Track: Part 3 - S4-E18

Other mistake: When Rex is telling Joey that he is down to his last 300 life points, Joey has one card in his hand and it is the Pot of Greed spell card. Joey then draws a card from his deck and the card is revealed to be Pot of Greed, even though the card was just shown in his hand. He then summons Gearfried the Iron Knight from his hand, which is the only other card in his hand and not the Pot of Greed card. (00:06:30)

The Fate of the Pharoah: Part 1 - S4-E12

Other mistake: The bridge that Yugi walks across is held up by two posts, with rope tied around them in three different places (the top, middle and bottom) and the rope tied around the top of the post is connected to the ground. Rafael throws two axes at the posts, severing the rope between the ground and the top of the post, but the ropes around the middle and bottom of the posts become severed, even though they were never hit by the axes. (00:03:33 - 00:03:59)

The Final Face Off: Part 5 - S3-E45

Other mistake: When Kaiba and Mokuba have begun the detonation sequence, a timer on the console begins counting down. The countdown is supposed to be one hour, as Kaiba told them the island will explode in that time, but the timer appears to count down incredibly quickly, with minutes passing by in seconds. (00:16:42)

The Final Face Off: Part 2 - S3-E42

Other mistake: When Marik has the Monster Reborn card after taking it from Yugi's graveyard, there is a close-up of the card in his hand. In the close-up, the spell card Fiend's Sanctuary can be seen among the cards in his hand. However, Marik does not have this card in his deck. Yugi has this card in his deck as Kaiba gave it to him at the start of the duel. (00:05:50)

Clash in the Coliseum: Part 6 - S3-E37

Other mistake: When Kaiba says "This is where it all ends, Yugi," a Blue Eyes White Dragon monster card can be seen on his duel disk. At this point, the only monster on his field is Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, so Blue Eyes White Dragon shouldn't be on his duel disk. The same mistake happens again when Kaiba says "No, I need my Ultimate Dragon to win the duel," right after Yugi activates De-Fusion, before the three White Dragons reappear on the field. (00:14:48 - 00:18:11)

Casual Person

Clash in the Coliseum: Part 5 - S3-E36

Other mistake: Kaiba activates The Flute of Summoning Dragon, which allows him to summon any Dragon-type monster from his hand. At this point, he has four cards in his hand. He then holds up two Blue-Eyes White Dragon monster cards in his right hand, but there also appear to be four cards in his left hand, even though there should now be two instead of four. (00:08:55 - 00:09:16)

Casual Person

Clash in the Coliseum: Part 4 - S3-E35

Other mistake: Kaiba activates the spell card Card of Demise, which allows him to draw cards from his deck until there are five cards in his hand (as long as he discards his entire hand after five turns). Once he has five cards in his hand, he summons the monster card Lord of Dragons from his hand, which should bring the total number of cards in his hand down to four, but instead he has three cards in his hand, instead of four. (00:17:03 - 00:17:43)

Casual Person

Duel Identity, Part II - S1-E30

Character mistake: Yugi mistakenly says if he doesn't get a monster out to defend himself Mai can attack him directly, which wouldn't be possible since the rules of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom arc forbade direct attacks on defenseless opponents. That rule wouldn't be implemented until the Battle City arc.
