Continuity mistake: When Yugi draws the Heart of the Underdog card, he has two fingers pressed against the card. The fingers are positioned vertically, but after a close-up of the card is shown, the next shot shows his fingers positioned at a more horizontal angle. (00:09:30)

Revealing mistake: When Yugi and Rick walk down the steps of the duelling platform after the duel has finished, Yugi is holding onto Rick's deck before handing it back to him. In this shot, the front side of one of Rick's cards can be seen, and it is missing the illustrations. (00:12:20)

Other mistake: When Slate Warrior is destroyed by Luster Dragon, the DuelTek's life points go down to 3400. However, the points begin counting down from over 4000. First, duelists only have 4000 life points at the start of a duel, and second, the DuelTek's life points were 3700 at the end of the previous turn due to Luster Dragon destroying Airknight Parshath. Continuity mistake: On the DuelTek's first turn, it has four cards in its hand. Then there is a close-up of the cards in its "hand", where there are only three cards visible, and then it draws a fourth card. In the shot after that, there are now five cards in its hand. (00:04:03)
