Continuity mistake: When Richard gets shot, blood can be seen splattering on the wall. Two shots after this, the blood that splattered on the wall from Richard's wound cannot be seen (not counting the large quantities of blood that were splattered on the wall earlier in the scene). (01:43:00)
Continuity mistake: When Jen shoots Richard, there is a shot of Jen lying back down towards the ground after he lets go of her. She is still holding the shotgun when she lies back, but when the shot cuts, the shotgun is suddenly on the floor. (01:43:00)
Continuity mistake: When Richard is trying to find Jen whilst walking through, he clutches his wound. When this happens, there is a thick smear of blood on the wall beside him, right next to the painting. It then cuts to a shot of his feet, with blood dripping on the floor. But in the next shot of Richard, the thick blood smear next to the painting has disappeared from the wall. (01:39:44)
Continuity mistake: When Jen notices the blood trail leading out of the room, there is sunlight on the floor, cast near the doorway. In the next shot, the sunlight on the floor has suddenly moved a few feet away from the doorway. (01:37:35)
Continuity mistake: Just after Richard crawls away into the next room, Jen is kneeling beside a chair and begins to move into the living room. Whilst kneeling beside the chair, the shotgun is away from her face, aimed at the ground. When the shot cuts, it is raised to her face and aimed towards the living room. (01:37:22)
Continuity mistake: When Jen shoots Richard in the stomach, there is a close-up shot of a cushion that shows blood being splattered on it. Around thirty seconds after this, there is a shot of the living room, with the entirety of the couch in frame, where it is covered in blood, but the blood splatters don't resemble the blood splatter that was shown landing on the cushion earlier in the scene. Continuity mistake: When Jen breaks the flashlight, the shards of glass that fall on the ground are incredibly small. Stan then gets one of the glass shards stuck in his foot, but when he removes the shard from his foot, it is significantly larger than any of the shards that landed on the ground. Continuity mistake: When Jen is aiming the shotgun at Dimitri, in one shot, the eyepiece is level with her eye. When the shot cuts, the shotgun is held so that the eyepiece is a few inches below her eyeline. (00:44:17)
Continuity mistake: Just after Richard and Dimitri have driven away, Stan looks out towards the lake and has his flashlight pointed straight forward. In the next shot, his flashlight is pointed down towards the ground. (00:40:36)
Continuity mistake: When Richard and Dimitri drive away from Stan at the lake, Stan is shown looking towards Dimitri as they drive away. Then it cuts to a wide shot where Stan is facing towards the lake and then turns towards Dimitri again. (00:40:26)
Continuity mistake: When Richard, Stan and Dimitri realise that Jen went into the lake, there is a wide shot of them pointing their flashlights towards the lake. Stan can be seen pointing his flashlight directly forwards, but in the next shot, it is pointed down at the ground. (00:39:38)
Continuity mistake: When Stan tries to convince Richard to take Jen to a hospital, Richard grabs Stan by the neck. When the shot is focusing on Stan, Richard's thumb can be seen pressed against the side of Stan's neck, but in the shots focusing on Richard, the thumb cannot be seen on his neck. (00:36:35)
Continuity mistake: Whilst standing on the cliff, there is a wide shot where the area appears to be covered in sunlight. But in every other shot in the scene, the area is shadowed. (00:26:29)
Continuity mistake: When Jen is cornered at the cliff, there is a wide shot where she appears to be standing a few meters away from the edge. Jen doesn't move for the next minute, but when Richard pushes her, she is suddenly standing next to the edge. (00:26:29 - 00:27:30)
Continuity mistake: When the four main characters are standing at the cliff, there is a shot of Jen turning around to look over the edge, with the three other characters in the background. Dimitri can be seen to the left of shot, with his hands at his side. Then it cuts to a wide shot, and Dimitri suddenly has his right hand near his mouth. (00:26:28)
Continuity mistake: When Jen puts on a shirt after she catches Stan watching her, at the end of the first shot, she is shown putting her head through the neckline and her hands are in front of her head. When the camera changes angles, she is fully wearing the shirt and her hands are now behind her head. (00:16:54)
