Scooby-Doo picture

Corrected entry: When Fred is saying that there is no such thing as monsters, and the monster comes in through the glass, when Fred jumps you can see that he looks straight at the camera when he lands. (00:39:40)

Correction: When an actor happens to glance in the direction of the camera, it is to be presumed that he/she is merely looking toward the imaginary 'fourth wall', as if the camera is not there. As long as the actor does not 'break the fourth wall', this is acceptable.

About Schmidt picture

Corrected entry: In the deleted scenes section of the DVD, Warren lets himself out of the back of a police car when he's being dropped off back at the supermarket after his shoplifting arrest. Most police cars are modified so that the backseat doors must be opened from the outside. (00:17:00)

Correction: Yes, most police cars are modified to prevent the backseat doors from being opened from inside. But this is by using the child lock on the door frame, not some grand modification that can't be undone. The officer simply has to slide the child lock off before closing the door, letting Warren open the backseat door from the inside.

Big Trouble picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where the plane is in the air, the back stairs are down when the plane takes off. The camera zooms out showing the entire plane in the sky. You can see the back stairs are up. Next few scenes, stairs are down.

Correction: The stairs are down in every shot that we are able to see the plane's left side.

Stranded picture

Corrected entry: When the three guys are walking down the hill on Mars, one of the guys says that the moon of Mars is going as fast as a satellite. If he knew anything about space (which he should have, being selected to go to Mars) he would know that a moon is classified as a satellite, so it's like saying 'that moon is going as fast as a moon' which doesn't make sense. (00:52:00)

David Hancock Premium member

Correction: When Fidel makes mention of this (Phobos moving as fast as a satellite), he is casually telling the others of his observation, not making a technical statement. I doubt that even an astronaut would use the term 'satellite' when talking about a moon, unless they were giving a lecture or telling a story. The assumption that he would know this, is valid; but in the context of the scene, it would be very odd for him to be using the technically correct terms.

Darkness picture

Corrected entry: Regina's brother had a couple or so pencils disappear/pulled under his bed and being "eaten" by the darkness. Yet in next scenes in the movies you can see those pencils in his set again.

Correction: Perhaps they bought him some new pencils to replace the ones that went missing?

Deathwatch picture

Corrected entry: The rifles the soldiers carry towards the end of the film are not really the Lee Enfield rifles that the British army carried. The rifles they carry have long muzzles, instead of the stubby one on the Enfield.

Correction: The rifles seen at the end of the film are German Mausers, not Lee-Enfields. The soldiers presumably found them in the trench.

Collateral Damage picture

Corrected entry: In the attack by the US on the guerilla camp, the helicopters used are Bell UH1D's configured as gunships. This means they carry up to two miniguns, and two 2.75in FFAR (folding fin aerial rocket) pods. However as the helicopters approach the camp they are not there at all. And when they fire on the camp, the FFAR's bend in flight. Now the FFAR is not the most accurate rocket in the world but it does not blatantly bend off course and it CAN NOT lock onto a target; it is a rocket not a missile; in general it stays exactly in a straight line apart from dipping a little. Also when the miniguns fire along towards the camera slightly later a man can be seen 'dying' falling over when there is no chance he can be injured at all; unless perhaps he has dirt in his eye from the dust pockets thrown up by the bullets.

Correction: Only ONE of the Hueys is configured as a gunship with the rocket and gun pods. You can definitely see this as they are flying in. So, when you see one without the pods on it, it is the one that never was configured as a gunship. There's no mistake here. The part about the rockets dimping and turning is correct. These are just rockets and when fired the go straight ahead.

Undercover Brother picture

Corrected entry: When Undercover Brother first enters Roscoe's Barber Shop, most of the shots involving the two older black men laughing show the "Roscoe's" window painting backwards. But when Undercover Brother sits down (just when he says, "Holy Funkadelic"), in the background, the formerly backwards window painting is now facing the correct way.

Correction: When it looks like the words are correct, it is actually the mirror image of the back of the store front.

The Pianist picture

Corrected entry: When Szpilman is walking down a sidewalk, he passes two German soldiers. One turns and addresses Szpilman as "Sie". Then he says, "Was machen Sie?" German soldiers never addressed Jews with the polite form of you (Sie), they always used the informal "du". The officer changes to "du" when he tells him to walk in the gutter.

Correction: Yes but they probably wouldn't have used 'du' either. Du is used very informally, when either talking to children or close friends.it's likely that when the Nazis addressed the 'enemy', they simply would have used the command form if commanding ie: "Komm hier" rather than "Kommen Sie hier". If asking a question, however, I would have thought using the "sie" form would have been used, simply because "du" is too friendly.

Hellraiser: Hellseeker picture

Corrected entry: The eel that Trevor coughs up in the middle of the movie in his apartment is very long and brown but the eel pulled from his mouth at the very end is much shorter and a yellow/cream colour.

Correction: Trevor's in his own reality, where he's being tormented by Pinhead, he wouldn't know the colour or size of the eel that's inside of him.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding picture

Corrected entry: When Toula's sister comes to the restaurant with her three boys she throws her coat on top of the cash register, and her scarf slips to the right side. When she leaves she picks up the coat which is covering the whole cash registers (plus the menus she is going to drop on the floor) and the scarf is lying on top of the coat. (00:10:25)

Correction: There is more than enough time between the times that you see it for someone to have moved it.

Insomnia picture

Corrected entry: When the police searched the boyfriend's apartment they never searched the entire apartment. Standard Operating procedure is to search the entire apartment. The killer could have been hiding in the room that Dormer was hiding in.

MCKD

Correction: They weren't searching for the killer, they were searching for the murder weapon. Finch told the police earlier that the boyfriend kept the gun in the heating vents. That's when Duggar told Rich to call for the warrant. Also Francis (big officer with glasses and bold head) was about to enter the room were Pacino was, but the gun was found before he entered.

Van Wilder picture

Corrected entry: Richard says that he goes to sleep at 11 before his exams, and he says he has almost three hours before then, but look out the window, it is still broad daylight. This is his first exam of the semester so it should be January or February and would not be light outside after 8 PM until April.

Sol Parker

Correction: They are in the spring semester so exams would be the first week of May. Remember, Gwen is told that her story will be run in the upcoming graduation edition of the newspaper.

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood picture

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie when the three Ya-Ya sisters and Vivi's husband get in the car to tell Sidda the whole truth there are four audible car doors slamming, but the car is a two door convertible.

Correction: I've listened to this over and over with the volume all the way up. I can hear the two doors opening and two doors closing and then the car starting and that's all. I listened again for four doors when they were all leaving Sidda, but again I only heard two.

Correction: The scar appeared due to the the punch, not the slap.

Real Women Have Curves picture

Corrected entry: In the last day of school Ana starts to leave the classroom when she is called by her teacher. After their conversation Ana hands the teacher a gift and leaves. If the teacher hadn't called her before she left she wouldn't have given him the gift that she obviously was prepared to give him.

Correction: She could have easily forgotten she had the gift and thought about it when the teacher called her. Or she could have decided not to give it to him, but then after the talk decided to go ahead and give it to him, either way it's a character mistake or decision.

The Sweetest Thing picture

Corrected entry: When Courtney, Christina, and Jane are in the club cheering Jane up Christina and Courtney come off the dance floor and fall on top of Jane on the water bed. When she topples over it's clear Jane is not wearing any panties.

Ben's Mom

Correction: Selma Blair mentions on the audio commentary that she was wearing underwear, but it was a lacy black pair and it looks a lot like she isn't and it's... something else down there. The other cast members and the director accuse her of 'not waxing' which she strongly denies.

Cabin Fever picture

Corrected entry: On the first night that the teens are camping, one of the guys is telling a story about the bowling alley. During the story, they show the "happy, bald guy." Without even looking very closely you can see that he is not bald, but wearing a bald cap. (00:19:35)

Correction: In the commentary with Eli Roth and Rider Strong, Roth explains that the "happy, bald man" is his brother, Adam Roth, and that he did actually shave his head for the part, even though it looks like a cap.

Pokemon Heroes picture

Corrected entry: Misty never saw the first Soul Dew in its proper place in the fountain because she wasn't with Ash when he saw it. But when Ash, Misty, Brock, Lorenzo, Bianca, and Latias go to put the new Soul Dew in the fountain Misty says, "It's perfect, just like the old one."

Correction: Misty does see the old Soul Dew - after Brock and Misty first see Latias, they then see through Latias' eyes where Misty sees the old Soul Dew.
