Drumline picture

Corrected entry: When the Morris Brown band is playing in the stands during one of their games, the first shot shows the band director wearing a purple suit to match the band uniforms. In the next shot, his suit is blue.

Correction: He is wearing a slightly iridescent suit which changes color depending on the angle of the camera and sunlight. It can be seen during the closeup as Dr. Lee looks at him through binoculars.

Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams picture

Corrected entry: Why is it that the two-headed serpent is the only being to notice that Gary & Gerty smell like camel poop?

Correction: How do we know nobody else noticed? Besides, they never interact with another creature again.

Clockstoppers picture

Corrected entry: The first scene has Doppler in disguise at the airport, desperately trying to hustle a flight in order to escape the bad guys. But he was in possession of a hypertime watch. Why didn't he just go into hypertime and walk right onto any plane he wished?

Correction: Without a proper ticket and the plane to the location he desired being 100% booked as the employee explained, if he just walked on the plane, the real occupants of his seat would show up, call the flight attendant and he would be kicked off the flight. He wouldn't just stay invisible by staying in hypertime as it would take WAY too long to finish the flight.

But that's assuming that he went into hypertime and then went and got into any random plane and sat in somebody else's seat. He could possibly, however, have bought a ticket for a flight, then gone into hypertime and rushed through airport security, seemingly just appearing out of thin air in his seat somewhere on the plane as soon as boarding opened? (Although the hypertime agents would probably still have had more than enough time to reach him on the plane before take-off..).

Barbershop picture

Corrected entry: When Billy is in the motel room trying to open the ATM machine with the axe, he takes a couple swings at it and accidentally hits the lamp causing the light to break and go out. As they cut to different shots of him swinging at the ATM, you see the light from the broken lamp going on and off. (00:44:50)

DvdNut

Correction: Broken lights often flicker on and off for periods of time.

We Were Soldiers picture

Corrected entry: When the reporter finds Jimmy half-burned from napalm, Jimmy is writhing on the ground. The problem is that his clothes aren't burning, the ground around him isn't singed, and Jimmy obviously was not able to move himself in any way.

Correction: When Jimmy is napalmed, you can see him take a couple of steps back immediately after being hit. As he was on the edge of the blast, this took him out of the burned area.

Home Alone 4 picture

Corrected entry: When Kevin and the butler are locked in the basement, Kevin goes up the steps to pound on the door. You can see that the hinges on the door are on the basement side of the door. Surely, there would be something in the basement that could be used to remove the hinge bolts, so they could just remove the door.

Correction: Two reasons: 1) When we panic or are in a situation Kevin and the butler are in, we don't really think that and 2) People aren't always that smart.

28 Days Later picture

Corrected entry: Watch the window carefully at the final climactic battle/escape in the film, inside the army outfit's mansion. There is a quick shot (which requires using the forward button in slow motion) of the rain "falling" upwards as the shot reverses. Simple editing error.

redbaron2000

Correction: The rules of this site are quite straightforward - if you have to use slow motion to spot a 'mistake', it is invalid.

The Transporter picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where the transporter opens the bag in the trunk to give the girl some juice, he cuts a small slit on the tape covering her mouth, throughout parts of the film when the girl has her mouth taped the slit appears and disappears. (00:19:35)

Correction: After he delievers the girl, they exchange her tape with a new one. When Frank takes Lai and her chair home, he had to drive the complete 250 km (4-5 hours) back. He surely made a stop to get refreshments and had to cut the tape again.

Tuck Everlasting picture

Corrected entry: In the last scene we can see that Winnie got married to a man with the (last) name Jackson. This is the same last name as the actor who portrays Jessie - Jonathan Jackson. (01:30:15)

Correction: This was a nice coincidence, but her husband's last name in the book was also Jackson.

More Tuck Everlasting corrections

Correction: This isn't a mistake. People/animals can loose shoes. They aren't part of the body, they are added and can also be taken off. Cuba could notice the shoe missing and put it back on without us seeing him do it.

Swimfan picture

Corrected entry: The cops at the end of the movie really fouled up. First, since Swimfan has been arrested for murder, she should be handcuffed behind her back, not in front. Second, ALWAYS keep your body between the suspect and your weapon. The fact that the cop's pistol was towards SwimFan (not opposite the officer) and she was handcuffed, thus letting her get the gun and shoot both officers, should never have happened.

Correction: Another example of a character mistake not a movie mistake. Poor judgement, even when resulting in death, is still a poor decision making made by the character that anybody could make, not a movie error.

A Walk To Remember picture

Corrected entry: When Landon and Jamie are at school, Landon walks past a table and he is wearing a tech vest. When he walks towards Jamie he's wearing a different shirt.

Correction: If you look at the scene in its entirety, you should pick up on the fact that he has been looking for Jamie over the course of a few days, not just one afternoon.

The Count of Monte Cristo picture

Corrected entry: In the scene at Fernand's house where Edmond discovers that Fernand betrayed him and the two engage in a swordfight, Edmond falls backwards over a chair or ottoman. The camera follows Edmond, but Fernand is still in the shot enough for the audience to see him drop his sword and quickly scramble to retrieve it.

Correction: How is this a mistake? They're in a frantic and violent sword fight. It's entirely plausible that he might drop his sword, and he would certainly "scramble to retrieve it".

Bowling for Columbine picture

Corrected entry: Moore depicts Charlton Heston's speech "Cold dead hands" as being held 10 days after Columbine at the NRA's annual meeting in Colorado. When in fact the speech was given one year later in Charlotte NC.

Jack's Revenge

Correction: Michael Moore doesn't depict that specific speech as being held 10 days after Columbine. He said he held a rally 10 days after Columbine shooting, and used video footage to show scenes of his rallies, this footage using one of his most infamous quotes. Also, he doesn't specifically say that it is the speech given at Colorado. His suit and tie in the Charlotte speech is even different than that of Colorado.

The Time Machine picture

Corrected entry: The light bulbs in Alexander's laboratory are frosted. Frosted bulbs were not invented until later. The bulbs should be clear with the filaments visible for that period.

Correction: A man who invents a time machine without claiming credit, publishing his design or registering a patent, for a time machine, can also similarly have other unknown, uncelebrated inventions. It is plausible to think that such a man can have invented a frosted light bulb for his own personal use, before they were invented and mass produced by another person.

Ice Age picture

Corrected entry: John Leguizamo tried a variety of different talking styles for Sid; after seeing a model of what Sid was going to look like, he came up with the lisp.

Correction: This isn't how John Leguizamo came up with Sid's lisp. According to the Bonus Features in the DVD, John Leguizamo says he found Sid's voice by accident by trying to talk to somebody with crackers in his mouth. He realized that is was the perfect voice for Sid and called Chris Wedge, crackers still in mouth.

The Santa Clause 2 picture

Corrected entry: After the elves drop the static-free tinsel on everyone, when Bernard and Curtis are discussing telling Santa about the Mrs. Claus, there is tinsel on Bernard's hair, but when shot from the side, the tinsel is not there.

Correction: The tinsel is still in his hair. You can see a few pieces in his hair. The reason that you do not see as much of it is because the light does not reflect the same in every angle making some of it visible while some is not.

25th Hour picture

Corrected entry: In the scene when Nikolai slides a magazine into the handgun, racks the slide, and points it at Edward Norton. The gun sounds and appears as though the slide has fully cycled, and that a bullet has been put into the chamber; yet the slide lock has been activated by the gun in the next shot. This indicates that the there is no ammunition in the gun. No shots were fired, Norton freaks out when the gun is pointed at him, and Nikolai is giving a speech about being man enough to actually know how to use a gun...? (01:39:50)

Correction: The slide isn't locked back, the gun actually jams. As Nikolai stops pointing the gun at Edward Norton and says "I believe you Monty," you can see that the round did not correctly enter the chamber and is jamming the slide back.

Bend It Like Beckham picture

Corrected entry: Jess fakes being sick to go to her football match. Just before Jess runs out of the house to go to her match, she stands in her living room looking at the picture of the religious leader Bubaji. Over to the right is a small stand with a phone and phone book. A striped chair sits next too it. When the father comes back to the house for his wallet, it is on this stand. The wallet should be on the stand when Jess is looking at Bubaji, but it isn't.

Correction: The object he picks up is a phone, not a wallet.

Phone Booth picture

Corrected entry: Stu's cell phone call to 911 would force the police to investigate...instead the operator threatens to "terminate the call" if he doesn't answer, which just doesn't happen.

Anthony Chiaro

Correction: It doesn't? In many big cities, 911 call centers have gotten into trouble because of not believing there was an emergency, or even for not answering the phones at all.
