The Powerpuff Girls Movie picture

Corrected entry: When Professor Utonium is arrested, the girls try to walk home, and eventually end up in Townsville, looking at all the destruction and such. Now, both Pokey Oaks Kindergarden and their house are in the suburbs, so how did they get into the town?

Correction: Because, as the professor says, they are just little girls. They have no idea where their house is so they get lost because they do not realize they are going the wrong way.

Murder by Numbers picture

Corrected entry: In the classroom scene where the students are taking a pop quiz, the teacher is pacing at the front of the room, about one or two metres from his desk as they all hand their papers to the front. A split second later, the camera cuts to a close shot of the teacher sitting at his desk and holding his glasses. There is no way he could have moved behind the desk and sat down that fast.

Correction: There is elapsed time in this scene. The teacher says "Exchange papers with your neighbor" when he is standing in front of the room, then says "And the answer to number 20 is D" when he is sitting down a second later with his glasses on. The movie skipped the bit in between where the teacher read off the answers to the quiz and the students corrected each other's quizzes, more than enough time for the teacher to sit down and put on his glasses. This is how Lisa was able to get Justin a passing grade.

Second String picture

Corrected entry: The Buffalo Bills play the Miami Dolphins in the AFC Championship game. That is impossible. They are both AFC East teams. The latest they could play eachother would be in the Divisional Playoffs.

Correction: The NFL playoffs are based on seeding and there is no thought given to what division teams are in. In each round the highest seed plays the lowest seed remaining. Example: The 2001 playoffs, the Bears and Packers, both NFC Central at the time of the movie, played in each of the divisional playoff games. Had they both won, they would have faced each other in the NFC title game. This holds true for the current divisional breakdown as well.

Jackass: The Movie picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Dunn goes into the Doctor's office to get the X-Ray of the car in his ass, he is actually carrying an envelope into the office (similar to the one that X-Rays come in). After this shot, you never see the envelope again.

Correction: The "Butt X-Ray" skit is actually two attempts at it edited into one whole scene. The envelope he is shown holding at certain times are the x-rays he got from his first visit to a different clinic. They did not use that footage because they did not get the reaction they wanted from the people working there.

City by the Sea picture

Corrected entry: In the last scene where Joey is talking to his father and the cops have surrounded a building, Joey approaches a window with one of the glass panes missing. In the next shot, the cops can see Joey from the window but the glass pane is there. Joey later breaks the glass and fires his gun. (01:37:15)

Correction: The glass pane is clearly in the window as Joey approaches it. There's even some haze or dirt on it.

The New Guy picture

Corrected entry: When Gil leaves the party, the bike he came on was broken and his friends came to the rescue by tying it up with a rope attached to the car. This wouldn't work, the front tire would be pulled up into the air causing him to fly back.

Jessmxo

Correction: He does fall back. But he grabs the handle bars to prevent himself from falling off.

In America picture

Corrected entry: In the carnival scene, at the game booth where the father is trying to win the ET doll for his youngest daughter, in the shot where they put the rest of the rent money down for his last chance, some of the bills in the pile are the newer, larger portrait bills. The movie takes place in the early 1980's. The redesign of the U.S. currency didn't start until 1996. (00:23:45)

Correction: This movie was not set in the early 80's. This common misperception was acknowledged by the director in an interview. Sheridan and his family came over from Ireland in 1982, but he admits that he purposely makes the time of the film ambiguous - the Jessica Alba billboard; lack of WTC in the NYC skyline; the "Eminem"-style rapper referencing Boris Yeltsin; the modern-day cabs in some scenes; etc. Here's a link to the interview: http://romanticmovies.about.com/cs/inamerica/a/inam122003.htm.

Whale Rider picture

Corrected entry: The father and grandfather are arguing after the slide show, and the father goes to pull down the white sheet that was hung over some drapes to act as a screen. He pulls it down, along with the rod and orange drapes that the sheet was hanging from. The camera cuts back to the grandfather, back to the father again, and the drapes are back up in place and hanging perfectly straight, and there wasn't enough time for him to rehang the drapes.

Kaite13

Correction: They never show the entire of the drapes again. You only see a little bit which could very well still be hanging straight and only the very end was broken.

The Four Feathers picture

Corrected entry: The British soldiers in the film are seen wearing scarlet red tunics. In reality, the British army in the Sudan wore a more practical khaki uniform, having dispensed with red after the Zulu wars fought nearly twenty years earlier.

Correction: This version of the film is in the Sudan 1884 (as in the book by Mason) not 1898, as in the other versions (the re-conquest of the Sudan). The last skirmish by the British army in red was in 1886 at Ginnis. Though the probabilities are that they would have been in khaki, many regiments took their red frock coats to the Sudan, some were worn in combat.

Like Mike picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Calvin and his other buddies are in the Staples Center for the first time watching the game, all of the seats are orange. Then when the camera is focused on Ox, Murph and Reggie the seats are yellow.

Correction: Half of the Great Western Forum seats are yellow while the other half is orange. It shows it in a later scene when the game is over and the Knights are going to the playoffs. Calvin goes on to the court to see the stadium one last time.

Return to Never Land picture

Corrected entry: When flying over Tower Bridge, Hook's ship is met by some Spitfire fighters. Despite being in combat, the Spifires all fly with their landing gear down.

Correction: The planes flying over the Thames are actually German Junkers 87 dive-bombers, which had a fixed undercarriage, so this isn't a mistake.

FearDotCom picture

Corrected entry: If Jeannine was 'The Doctor's' first victim of torture, and the whole Feardotcom.com website is a site for Jeannine's revenge, then why is 'The Doctor' the one hosting the site?

Correction: Feardotcom.com was the website that 'The Doctor' was using when he tortured and killed Jeannine, which he then abandoned to avoid being caught. Jeannine's spirit, or whatever, then took over and began killing the people who logged on. 'The Doctor' had no idea the site stayed active after he abandon it.

Waking Up in Reno picture

Corrected entry: When Lonnie Earl first shows Roy the new red SUV that they will be driving to Reno, he comments that the odometer has been disconnected so he can sell it as new when they come back from vacation. Later on in their trip, there is an odometer shot showing the miles adding up as they travel.

Correction: When the odometer is shown, the miles are not adding up, they are switching back and forth between 92 and 93.

Eight Legged Freaks picture

Corrected entry: At the end, all the spiders are supposedly killed in the explosion, but what about all the trapdoor spiders? They are all underground in the car park and the ostrich farm! They wouldn't have been killed in the explosion.

Correction: The cops and the army came and killed the trapdoor spiders

The Skulls 2 picture

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie it states that "at least four U.S. Presidents are known to have been members", however at the beginning of "The Skulls I" it says that there were three U.S. President members.

Correction: Which implies two things: 1) the secrecy of the society was so tight that not all of the presidents were known to be members and 2) it implies the current president at the timeline of the movie has now admitted or been discovered to be a member.

Rollerball picture

Corrected entry: This movie has two pro wrestling cameos. The American Media Mogul is played by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) co-owner and sometimes wrestler, Shane McMahon (son of Vince McMahon). And the English Sports Announcer is played by former ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) owner and current WWE writer, Paul Heyman.

Correction: Shabe McMahon doesn't own WWE. Vince owns all the stock or at least he and Linda do.

Blue Crush picture

Corrected entry: When the girls are driving down the road talking to the Quarterback guy, a car is seen coming directly at them, but they never encounter this car in other shots.

Correction: In this scene, watch the girls' car as it drives next to Matt's. You will see through their car windows that the car that was coming directly towards them passes by them on the shoulder. It happens fast, so pay close attention.

Cinderella II: Dreams Come True picture

Corrected entry: When the King is packing his stuff into the carriage you can see a tennis racket as part of the luggage. Tennis wasn't invented in that time.

Correction: Tennis dates back to before or around the 14th century. (Prior to that it was more like handball).

Welcome To Collinwood picture

Corrected entry: When Leon has Pero on the floor with his keys, Pero gets a drop of blood to the left of his nose, this is visible on the close up, but then on the wider shot, it has disappeared, then back in the close up.

Correction: On DVD the blood is visible also in the wider shot.
