40 Days and 40 Nights picture

Corrected entry: During the scene when they are chatting in the bus while parked in the busyard, you can see the reflection of a crew member in the window at the rear of the bus.

Correction: That scene showed not a crew memeber, but a bus driver checking out a bus for garbage or lost belongings.

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever picture

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ecks is chasing Sever on motorcycles, he is shown numerous times behind a Jeep Cherokee. As the film progresses, he weaves in in out of traffic but never passes the Cherokee.

Correction: The jeep starts off behind Ecks, he turns right but the Jeep travels straight-on following Sever. He u-turns with two cars following and rejoins the original road with the Jeep in front following Sever with two cars following him. He then overtakes the Jeep, but later, at a junction, he has to brake to avoid hitting a silver car, the Jeep doesn't stop and goes around the car to his right. The Jeep therefore ends up entering the "junk-yard" ahead of him.

Life or Something Like It picture

Corrected entry: The voice in the plane announces that they have arrived at LaGuardia International Airport. LaGuardia is not an international airport and serves only National flights. JFK is NY's international airport.

Correction: LaGuardia is an international airport.

Dirty Pretty Things picture

Corrected entry: Although the action takes place in London, the payment for the "goods" being sold on the black market is quoted in dollars.

Correction: The US dollar is frequently used as an international currency for all manner of illegal activities (there's a great deal of it available, and it's widely accepted). This makes more sense than the assumption that the English film's English writer doesn't know what the local currency is.

The Adventures of Pluto Nash picture

Corrected entry: The story line is based around mobsters wanting to buy Nash's club to turn it into a casino, and then trying to pressure him when he won't sell. At the end the boss of the mobsters turns out to be a clone of Nash, complete even with his memory. If this is the case why buy the club? Just kill Nash and have the clone take over running the place.

Correction: The mobsters would also have to eliminate Nash's android, all of his employees, and anyone he does business with to run the club, just in case someone notices that the clone is acting contrary to Nash's wishes or interests. Not only that, but even for organized crime killing is a last resort (murder attracts much more attention from the authorities than extortion and there's always the chance an underling will botch things). It's easier just to pressure Nash into selling the club, making everything legitimate and risking far less jail time in case the scheme falls apart.

Punch-Drunk Love picture

Corrected entry: Barry asks the phone sex lady to call him jack, but she calls him Barry near the end of their first conversation...

Correction: This is just a slip on her part and a bit of foreshadowing for the movie. She knows his real name and all his personal information from his credit card and his social security number and she forwards all this to the matress man.

Stealing Harvard picture

Corrected entry: When Jason Lee comes home from work he is wearing brown pants and a yellow shirt and says they should go to his sisters soon. In the next scene he is wearing grey pants and a green plaid shirt. (00:06:15 - 00:06:45)

Correction: He got home from work, got changed, then went to his sister's.

Showtime picture

Corrected entry: When Rene Russo goes to look for Robert DeNiro in the restaurant. THe establishment's door has a sign with an "A" rating. Later on in the same scene, as she exits the restaurant, the door has a "C" rating.

Correction: It could have been done intentionally as a side joke, since she went in willing to eat and came out totally digusted.

Secretary picture

Corrected entry: James Spader says to Lee "You're not worried I'm gonna f*** you, are you? I'm not interested in that, not in the least. Now pull up your skirt." His mouth is initially closed and when he does move his lips they are out of sync. (01:10:30)

Paul Andrews

Correction: On the TV edited version, the words are muted and therefore appear out of sync. However, the actual movie doesn't have this error.

Two Weeks Notice picture

Corrected entry: After the stapler fight George drags Lucy into the pantry by holding her at the arms. The camera cuts briefly to June, and when it's back on Lucy and George he is holding her around the waist and Lucy is wildly brandishing the stapler at June. It's theoretically possible but looks quite wrong. (01:19:45)

NancyFelix

Correction: It is theoretically possible, therefore it shouldn't be considered a mistake. George had plenty of time to move his hands down.

Carrie picture

Corrected entry: Ms. Desjarden escaped the prom through an air vent, but the chair she used fell over, leaving her dangling from the vent with little time to escape before the gym burned down.

Rob245

Correction: That was the entire point of the scene where we finally see her police interview at the end where it reveals that she survived. It was supposed to be a surprise for the audience that she survived. True, there was little time for her to pull herself up into the vent, but little time is not the same thing as no time. Someone with as much determination as Desjarden had might have found the strength to pull themselves up, as has happened many times in other movies and even in real life. We don't see exactly what happens after the chair falls, so we can't definitively say whether or not her survival was plausible.

The Good Girl picture

Corrected entry: When Justine and her lover leave the motel room and see her husband's van, the front of the van is facing the road. However, when we see the flashback from her husband's friend saying he followed her to the motel, he parks the car facing the room.

Correction: When Justine and Holden leave the motel room they do not see her husband's van. She sees her husband's friend's white truck. And as far as I can tell from watching both scenes, the truck is parked facing the same direction both times.

Bubba Ho-Tep picture

Corrected entry: The corticosteroid cream that Elvis uses is Vaseline; real corticosteroid cream is a dark bland white, much more runny, and not at all translucent like the cream shown in the movie.

Correction: Steroids also come in ointment forms that look exactly like whatever Elvis was using.

Cadet Kelly picture

Corrected entry: At the military school, everyone's last names' are listed on their badges. However, on Carla's badge, it says Carla, instead of Hall (her last name).

Correction: Her badge says 'Hall'.

Narc picture

Corrected entry: Towards the end, when Tellis retrieves the Government .45 from Oak's car's glovebox and enters the building, he shoots the gun with an uncocked hammer, which is impossible as the gun is a single action. Also after the two shots are fired, the hammer is still down, i.e. the gun wasn't fired.

MGD

Correction: There are double-action clones of this weapon available. See: http://www.sightm1911.com/lib/review/para-ord-745.htm

Slackers picture

Corrected entry: At the final exam, James King is shown a Polaroid of Jason Schwartzman's shrine to her. The shrine includes a laptop computer playing continuous video footage of her. In the shot of what is supposed to be the Polaroid, the video is going and she is moving.

Correction: It was a flashback to when they took the picture!

The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course picture

Corrected entry: While Steve and his wife are on the river relocating the croc, the two CIA agents catch up with them and look in their truck before continuing after them. One agent finds the spider in a container and lets it go. Steve and his wife never comment on the missing spider.

Correction: Why would they? It wasn't an important part of the movie. There was no place for a comment like that in the rest of the movie. It would have just been unnecessary.

Repli-Kate picture

Corrected entry: How did Max and Henry make the Jonas clone? After capturing the two Kates, the lab where the replicator is kept was guarded, and after that, when Jonas was supposed to give his cloning speech, the replicator was with him (for demonstration). Max and Henry had no access to the replicator, which they used to clone Jonas in order to grant them access to the lab (where the replicator was kept) in the first place.

Correction: The repilicator was moved to the auditorium earlier in the day, which is where Max and Henry took Jonas' pube to replicate Jonas that evening. The security guards, guarding the two Kates, were back at the lab after the replicator had already been moved.
