He has his flashlight in his right hand, and pulls out an iron bar with his left. Continuity mistake: When the taxi stops to pick up the woman, it stops with its hood in front of the door of the building beside it. She gets in and finds the driver dead, and jumps out. Other mistake: Duke is checking old copies of the Haven Herald around the time of Lucy (27 years ago). A headline on the one he's reading is about Lucy's disappearance. A moment later, he's reading a story about a meteor shower that occurs every 27 years; but the text we can see states that it just happened, and refers to dates in 2010 (having just happened, not '27 years from now'). This paper is supposed to be a 1983 edition. Also there is fake Latin 'filler text' printed in some columns.

Factual error: When Audrey turns on the car radio to listen to the baseball game score, the LCD display turns to the time.  When she turns it off, it shows the tuner. This is the opposite of how car radios function - the sound editor must have been dubbing in the sound, and missed this).

Continuity mistake: After running the roadblock and getting shot in the shoulder, we see Hopper's shirt with a bloody patch about 3" x 2." The camera angle changes and it is now several times larger, positioned differently and oddly-shaped (a bleeding wound would simply expand the stain on the shirt; it would not 'move'). (00:02:55)

Trivia: When Barry is checking the results of his tests in the police lab, he turns to the computer to view the screen. The camera changes to see the screen, and for just a moment (just a few frames) we see what was on the screen before his results - a couple of stolen car reports, one of which is that of "Joliet Jake Blues" (from the Blues Brothers movie). And yes, the car and licence are the same as in the movie. I don't know what the connection is; I assume someone on the crew loved that movie. (01:12:00)

The Lost Reindeer - S14-E11

Character mistake: When Russell is reading the bio for the suspect who had dressed as a reindeer at the party and was looking for her contact lens, the bottom of the page lists "Identification Databases Checked:" and lists several states and 5 cities under each one. Alabama and Colorado have the same 5 (Alabama) cities listed. Also, the form lists several pieces of information - Class, DOB, Height, Weight, Eyes, Eyes, Hair, Restrictions, Contact Lens Serial No and Criminal History and Occupation. (Yes, "Eyes" is there twice.) The first "Eyes" field lists a name (emergency contact?), which illustrates how badly the prop department prepared this form. Lastly, despite the suspect's DOB being 04.12.1987 (either April 12 or December 4), and this episode taking place in December 2013, Russell states that she is 23 (but should be 26). (00:15:20)

Character mistake: When Shawn is checking Ed's book of valuables, the crown that Shawn thinks Despereaux will steal, has a listed value of "950,000 - 1,000,00,000 USD." I guess it's really, really(!) valuable, enough that a whole new numbering system was made up for it. (00:30:55)

Factual error: Throughout the episode, people refer to the previous murder as occurring 14 years ago. That puts it in 1999, yet we know it was in 2000, thanks to photos and other evidence.

Continuity mistake: In Tech Noir, as the Terminator starts firing the Uzi at Reese, a guy in a dress shirt and tie gets shot as Reese uses him for cover. He reacts to getting hit, the camera angle changes, and he reacts again. (00:35:50)
