Logan's Run (1976)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Logan sits in front of the computer and learns of his mission: Logan's speech including the words "You mean nobody's ever been renewed?" (by Carousel) makes no sense at all. He seems shocked, and says "but everyone believes that some." But the computer has said no such thing, never implies that none renew, only that some runners escape.

Correction: That's not really how the scene goes. However, Logan is smart enough to figure out what's going on because the computer does imply nobody has been renewed. There are not enough escaped runners to account for all the people, so when Logan asks his question about no one has been renewed, the computer remains silent. Which Logan takes to mean "yes".

Downton Abbey (2010)

A Moorland Holiday - S5-E9

Corrected entry: Mr Carson says he has "registered" the house in the name of him and Mrs Hughes. Not if this was 1924! The Land Registration Act was introduced in 1925, effective 1 Jan 1926.

Correction: The Land Registration Act of 1925 was just an extension of an already in place land registration system. Land registration was already in effect, starting with the Land Registry Act of 1862. Certainly no mistake that he "registered" the house in 1924.

Iron Man 3 (2013)

Corrected entry: When Don Cheadle gets out of a car filled with men, he takes a pump action gun and pumps it, then a man takes the gun and also pumps it - pointless after Don already did it - which would mean an unused shell should have been ejected, but it wasn't.

kh1616

Correction: There is a scene showing a shotgun pumped twice, however the shell does eject. But, there is no scene remotely close to what you describe occurring with Don Cheadle (Iron Patriot). Please clarify when it occurs.

Child's Play (1988)

Corrected entry: After Chucky walks out of the fire (after being set on fire) he crawls over the couch then falls down and his head falls off. Then in the next scene his head is back on.

Correction: His head never falls off when he's burning.

Child's Play (1988)

Corrected entry: Andy has the Chucky doll for a few days before his mother asks the peddler where he got it. When Andy's mother spoke to the cop about the doll working without batteries she said "it's been speaking and moving without batteries for days". When she asks the peddler where he got the doll she says "I bought a doll from you yesterday". How could she have bought it from him yesterday when Andy has had the doll for at least two days by this point?

Aled Wesker

Correction: No real mistake. First, she didn't have the doll for a few days, just two, at this point. Karen gave Andy Chucky the day she bought it, and Chucky talked that first day. The next day is when Andy took Chucky to school and everything with Eddie and the cops happened and when she took Chucky home. So when Karen is talking to Mike, Chucky had been talking for days (two), even though she did buy it yesterday.

Child's Play (1988)

Corrected entry: When Maggie falls out of the kitchen window, first of all, she supposedly falls because she stumbles backwards, startled or hurt from the hammer wound on her head. But there's no way she could stumble backward and gain enough force to hurtle through the window the way she does - it would be hard to throw yourself out the window and gain as much force as Maggie did. Also, she falls out the window backwards, meaning face up as she falls. Yet when they cut to an outside shot, somehow she's miraculously reversed to face down. A miracle in physics.

Correction: If you watch the scene again, you see while at first she's knocked back from the blow, then she loses her footing, causing her to stumble backwards (which can cause a lot of momentum as most people end up running a bit to stop from falling). However, we see as she falls backwards into the window, she actually starts to twist (supposedly to catch herself) so when she actually falls out the window, she's twisted all the way to be facing forwards. No physics miracles needed.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: When Jay and Kevin get flushed to the surface and are standing inside those mailbox thingies, the water on the inside walls and around their feet is blue (as it should be) - but the water dripping down their faces is colourless. (00:35:35)

Correction: There's no mistake. It's just the way the lighting hits it to make it seem clear. In fact, in one scene Jay spits out the blue liquid and immediately after, the blue liquid appears clear on his lips and chin.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: It appears Will Smith suffered a touch of acne during filming. In the scene where they are driving to the young woman (witness), Will has a noticeably large spot on his cheek. In the next scene it is gone. (00:19:40 - 00:46:55)

Correction: I watched the scene over and even some from before and after and there's never any weird shot or touch of acne on Will Smith.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: When K and J are in Times Square after being flushed, they are covered with droplets of clear water. However the water on the walls of the cylinders as well as what they were in was blue. (00:35:35)

jerimiah

Correction: There's no mistake, they just appear clear, but it's all the same blue liquid. In fact, in one shot you see Jay spit out the blue liquid and even as the blue liquid is seen, some of the drops on his lips and chin appear clear.

Bishop73

Given the droplets were the same size on the walls of the pod as they were on J and K, they would not appear to be blue on one surface and clear on another. If the drops were larger in the pod vs on them, then I'd agree that the color could possibly be blue vs. Clear - but they weren't so they should be blue regardless of being on a person vs. Pod wall.

jerimiah

Correction: There's a lot more to just droplet size that affects what color you see. But the point being, he is seen spitting out blue liquid and that same liquid appears clear (as opposed to seeing him spit out blue liquid, have shot change, then another shot back to J where the liquid is now clear).

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: When Agents Jay and Kay are standing on the elevator overlooking MIB HQ when he brought Kay back, you can clearly see the leash (it's a small black string on Jay's finger) that Frank the dog is on in a couple of shots, then when they get off the string magically disappears. (00:29:50)

Correction: It doesn't "magically" disappear. You literally see Will Smith drop the thin leash before stepping off.

Men in Black II (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Jay and Kay are talking in the mail truck, there is clear blue sky over the left shoulder of Jay. The camera turns to Kay for him to speak and when it goes back to Jay the sky over his left shoulder is cloudy. (00:30:00)

Correction: You can also see the "clouds" coming out of a chimney or smokestack. It's just smoke, which can be produced fast enough to cover the area in question.

Die Hard (1988)

Corrected entry: McClane sends the elevator down to the 30th floor with Tony's body in it and gets on top of the elevator. The terrorists are there, standing about, discussing the body and that they must now tell Karl that his brother is dead. Why would they then press the button for the 32nd floor (the top floor) without getting in? That happens only so that Bruce Willis can get to the roof for the next scene.

Correction: I've seen the scene and not sure why you think the terrorist didn't get in the elevator. They were told by Hans to hide the body, which explains why they went up.

The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene near the beginning the of movie when Mr Incredible goes to the island and is fighting the first robot, he he hurts his back. The robot then picks him up and, using its claws, begins stretching him, during which we hear his back pop, and him laugh. He then uses his strength to pull one of the robot's claws off, allowing him to escape. Later in the scene the claw mysteriously reappears, as seen when the robot is defeated and collapses to the ground.

Hawk

Correction: This is not correct. The claw never reappears after being torn off. In fact, you can see the arm with the missing claw the whole time, even after being destroyed (in the final shot it is the front arm to the left of the viewer).

The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: In the dinner scene, when Dash is running around the room smacking Violet on the back of the head, there are two water jugs that are there in closeups of Vi, but disappear in shots of Dash running.

Brad

Correction: If you're referring to the tall silver and short green dishes behind Vi, both are visible when Dash is running around. If you're referring to the two vases above, those are also visible. There are no changes between close up and wide shots.

The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bob and Frozone get caught in the jewelry store a police officer sees them and comes in, but the police car he is in is on the left and he comes in from the right.

Correction: You can see through the window when the Supers are arguing that the cop sweeps from left to right before he enters, which is how he enters from the right.

Bishop73

The Incredibles (2004)

Corrected entry: During the chase scene at the beginning of the movie, Bob pulls up a map of where he is as opposed to the cop car and the getaway car. The computer then plots a merge pursuit course as being an immediate right, followed by a left turn and two more right turns. The car converts, then is shown taking an immediate left, then a right turn, a mirror image of what the map displays.

Correction: If you watch the scene again closely, you can see as the computer zooms into the converge point, Mr. Incredible's car (on the map) has already made the first right, thus the first turn we see is the left hand turn, which is the 2nd plotted turn.

Celtic Pride (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Lewis Scott beats up Jimmy and Mike on the outdoor basketball court to escape from them, it's pitch black out one moment then seconds later it's completely light out.

Correction: That's not how the scene went. It started getting light while they were still playing basketball and it was meant to show the passage of time (i.e. they weren't playing basketball for just 2 minutes). By the time Scott leaves it's morning, which is why it's light.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: Right after Ruby Rod says "So tell me, my man... You nervous in the service?" - the flight attendant is promptly tossed through the door to the right. A second later (dialogue uninterrupted) she appears right back where she was before. (01:12:30)

Tony Martin

Correction: There are two different flight attendants in the scene to begin with. Once the 2nd is tossed through the door she isn't seen again. The 1st one is though.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Corrected entry: When Leeloo falls in Korben's cab, he parks and then rubs his neck. She's supposed to be still knocked out, but there's the the reflection of somebody moving on the window. It's not Leeloo, it's a man.

Dr Wilson

Correction: I've seen the scenes (even in slow motion) and nothing like this exist. First off, the parking and "rubbing his neck" scene is after Leeloo falls into the cab. There's no reflection of someone moving, however she's not knocked out. When she does get knocked out and Korben is hiding in the fog, there's not a shot of him rubbing his neck. But there still is no reflection of someone moving, although there is a shot of Korben through the window.
