Family Guy (1999)

Correction: So much time passes that Brian had plenty of time and ways to find out. Peter could have even told Brian he's leaving to go rob his father-in-law since we don't see them leaving.

A Fistful of Paintballs - S2-E23

Corrected entry: When Annie comes in and shoots the cheerleader squad, there are six cheerleaders in the squad. One of them starts bickering with Annie and Annie shoots her again in response. But if her gun only held 6 bullets, and she shot all of the other cheerleaders, where did the seventh come from? And she never picked up another gun or reloaded after she shot them.

Correction: She only shoots 5 cheerleaders (you can count the shots and also see the paintballs hit). Annie leaves the middle, head cheerleader, unshot so she could have her "revenge" to her face. You see that before Annie shoots, the head cheerleader doesn't have paint. Annie only shoots her once (her 6th bullet), she never reshoots her or fired a 7th shot.

Plot hole: Milo and Nicole go to the club and ask for John. After failing to convince the woman that he works in the senate for Kansas, the woman looks at him and calls him 'Senator' but calls Nicole 'Mrs Boyd'. There was no mention any of their names (even though Milo's surname is Boyd). If the woman calls Nicole Mrs Boyd, she surely must know Milo and that Nicole was his wife.

Suggested correction: The scene starts with the membership director telling them the club is closed for a private event, so we don't see them enter and what they say to her. They obviously cut straight to this part to cut out time. But Milo and Nicole would have given her their names so she could check to see if they're members or on the list.

Correction: The signed napkin (from s02e11 "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis") was from Leonard Nimoy (who played Spock) whom Penny met at the Cheesecake Factory, not Stan Lee.

Ted 2 (2015)

Corrected entry: When Johnny and Samantha are running into ComiCon to find Ted, Samantha has black flat shoes on, whereas in the scene before this she had on khaki colored heels.

CARAMENTE22

Correction: The previous scene was John and Sam at the fountain when he got the call from Ted. She was wearing her black flats then. However, she had plenty of time to change out of her nice (and probably uncomfortable) dress heels and into comfortable and easier to walk in flats since after the lawyer visit, Ted had time to get to ComiCon, get tickets to go inside, and run from Donny. She had a big enough purse to fit a pair of shoes, or had time to go back to the car. She's also seeing wearing the same flats at the hospital.

Ted (2012)

Plot hole: Ted calls on John to tell him that he saw Lori leaving her apartment with her boss. How did he find him? He turns up not only at the right hotel but the right room! They have had no contact since their fight after the party and Ted hasn't been asking around after John as he tells him he 'just saw' Lori leaving with her boss. So how did he find John? Is he psychic?

Suggested correction: A week has passed since the breakup and we don't see anything that happened during that time. There's nothing in the film to indicate Ted didn't try to reconcile with John (such as through text) or at least find out where he's staying. The only reason Ted decided to go to the hotel is to tell John about Lori leaving with her boss because he knows that would be a big deal to him. And Ted went to Lori's to try to get her to take John back (probably because of things John said to Ted during the week we didn't see). Once Ted is at Lori's and sees her leaving with her boss, he goes to the hotel to tell John he "just saw her leave" with him.

Bishop73

John had no reason to tell Ted where he lives, he didn't want him to come at all, that was shown. Ted wouldn't know where to go.

Ted (2012)

Corrected entry: When Ted talks on his phone he places the phone in the position where a human ear would be located, yet Ted's ears are located on the top of his head.

Correction: After Ted came to life, he can blink despite not having eyelids as a stuffed bear. We don't know where he can hear out of. Plus, his hearing might be good enough that the location is suitable.

Ted (2012)

Audio problem: After John and Ted's falling out, Ted comes and knocks on the glass doors. The sound is of a knock which would be impossible since Ted's hands are made of material.

Suggested correction: Ted's legs can also support his body and he's able to drive, etc, despite being made out of cotton. He's a magic wish that came true and can knock.

Bishop73

Maybe a wish that come true and can drive as you suggested however, the original mistake states that a knock is heard. Even if Ted had metal inside him (an exaggeration I know) the noise would still be a thump and the stuffing would muffle the sound.

Ted (2012)

Corrected entry: When the news shows Ted being arrested at an airport, Ted gives the camera the finger. When he does this, his hand is censored, but Ted doesn't actually have any fingers.

MikeH

Correction: This is done as a joke, that the media deemed the gesture offensive even without fingers.

Spirit Folk - S6-E17

Plot hole: Gunfire damages the holodeck controls, and the computer announces that safety protocols are now offline. This implies that they were online before the gunfire. If they were still online before the gunfire, the bullets would not have damaged the controls.

Birdzip

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Safety protocols are meant to protect the real people in the simulation, holobullets would still cause damage to non-real people and objects.

Hal Coaches - S3-E16

Corrected entry: Reese is waiting outside of the school for Ed. When he arrives to pick him up Reese says "school gets out at 3, it's 2:15, I've been waiting for over an hour."

Correction: That's specifically the point. Reese wanted to leave school early and wanted Ed to pick him up at 1:00 (or probably after lunch), so he could goof off during school hours. Remember, Reese was blackmailing Ed and making him do things for him without anyone knowing. If all Reese wanted was a ride after school, he could have had his parents pick him up or taken the bus.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: Lee didn't need to jump on the grenade, they could have just all run away, there was plenty of time.

MikeH

Correction: Lee jumped on the grenade before knowing how much time there would be and to make sure everyone would be safe.

The Dance Show - S5-E5

Corrected entry: Peg goes dancing with Marcy. She meets Andy, who is gay and married. His husband shows up at Al's house telling him about Andy always being with Peg at the dance hall. Peg tells Andy her name is "Lola" though. So how did the husband know to go to Al's house and say, Are you Al Bundy? He has no clue of Peg's real name, let alone where she lives.

Correction: While Andy might not know Peg's real name, Pete (Andy's husband) says he's been following Andy every Tuesday and Thursday (so this has been going on for a while) to see where he goes and finds him dancing (with Al's wife). We know Pete follows Andy to see where he goes so he could easily follow Peg to where she lives. There's a number of ways for Pete to find out who lives there (ask a neighbor, looked at the mail, etc.) Andy still thinks Peg is Lola, and single, because he's not following her.

Bishop73

Correction: This correction makes no sense. Andy has never been to Peg's house. He doesn't even know her real name. There's no way his husband knew Al was Peg's husband at all. This entry shouldn't be corrected.

What part didn't make sense? I never stated Andy went to Peg's house. And I said Andy still thinks Peg's name is Lola.

Modern Warfare - S1-E23

Revealing mistake: When Chang's paint bomb explodes, pay attention to the background. You will see paint exploding from three different points on the ground. (One to the center, one to the left and one to the right) The only problem is that there was only one paint bomb in the center, so it makes no sense that there are 3 explosions from different points.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: It's not exploding from 3 points on the ground, it's just 3 different spots on the window. However, the bomb had 3 bottles of paint which is where the three spots come from.

Bishop73

Incorrect. The paint very, comes from three different points in the room. The center of the screen (where Chang is) is where the bulk of it comes from, but there are two extra "bursts" on the left and right side of the screen, far away from where the "paint bomb" is actually located. (And if you don't believe me, look it up on- the scene's on YouTube. The paint burst on the left side of the screen is aimed to the right, and the paint on the right is aimed to the left- which adds a further layer of impossibility to your assertion that the paint all came from the same bomb in the center of the room.

Debate 109 - S1-E9

Corrected entry: During the first debate, you can see the Human Being mascot in the bottom right side of the screen. When Jeff and Annie are walking out of the gym though, the Human Being is walking towards the gym. (00:09:15 - 00:10:05)

sydneybp1

Correction: The last time we see the mascot is when they're announcing the scores. After that, the basketball team comes in and the debate is postponed. After that it cuts to Jeff and Annie walking out of the gym. However, the mascot is not walking towards the gym, he's walking down the hallway. Not only did he have plenty of time to get there, he could have simply walked out of the gym from a different exit and was heading in the opposite direction, as many other students were.

It's All in the Game - S12-E1

Corrected entry: During the opening credits, the film of a fountain in front of a mansion is running backwards. The water is flowing upwards from the pool back into the water jet.

Correction: The film is not running backwards. It's called the "wagon-wheel effect" where the camera's film rate isn't fast enough to capture the flow of the water. This is a natural phenomenon and not a movie mistake, you can simulate the same effects with strobe lights or blinking rapidly.

Bad Moms (2016)

Corrected entry: Amy says in the film she's now 32, and mentioned she had her first kid at 20. This means now her oldest should be 12, but her daughter is mentioned as being 12 and she is shorter and looks younger than her brother (who looks at least 13 or 14). The ages don't appear to match the storyline.

Correction: At the time of filming, Oona Laurence (who plays the daughter) was 13 years old. Emjay Anthony (who plays the younger brother) was 12. Given that she's only a year older than her character and the fact that Emjay is most definitely younger in real life means there's no plot hole.

The Friendship Algorithm - S2-E13

Corrected entry: When Sheldon and Barry are rock climbing, Sheldon looks down and shouts in fear. When Barry asks "You all right there Cooper?", Sheldon answers "I feel somewhat like an inverse tangent function approaching an asymptote." An inverse tangent function approaches its asymptote in the horizontal axis, not the vertical. (00:15:55)

Correction: The vanity card at the end explains the joke. "A linear asymptote is essentially a straight line to which a graphed curve moves closer and closer but does not reach. In other words, given a function y=fn (x) with asymptote A, A represents a number that, no matter how big (or, given the function, small) you make x, y will never make it to A. The particular example Sheldon quotes is the inverse Tangent function, or Arctangent, which has two asymptotes. If you graph it, it sort of looks like a horizontal S. No matter how big you make x (that is, how far you move to the right [that is horizontally]), the function is never going to hit that top line (π/2), and no matter how small x gets (moving to the left), y is never going to be smaller than - π/2" Sheldon is saying he will never reach the top.
