Corrected entry: In the Spanish audio, and I guess that in the English version also, the movie says that "after 400 years, the Alpha station has traveled more than 1,100 million kilometers." That's not even half way across the Solar System. It has not even reached the planet Saturn. Light years would have been a better unit of distance to use.

Shining Through (1992)
Corrected entry: The flag in Douglas' office when interviewing Griffith is a 50 star flag instead of the 48 star version.
Correction: The flag has 48 stars, not 50. Even though it's hanging down and folded over on itself and you can't count all the stars, it's simple to tell. A 50-star flag has 9 alternating rows of 6 or 5 stars and a 48-star flag has 6 rows of 8 stars. The shot of the flag I see, it's partly cut off from the fold, but I can count at least 7 stars in a row, meaning it's impossible to be a 50-star flag.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
Corrected entry: If the "Golden Ticket" can be found in any of Wonka's confections, why is the spoiled girl's crew only opening one kind of Wonka's candy?
Correction: The Golden Tickets are not found in just any of Wonka's confections. They are only placed in Wonka Bars, which is why they're opening only one kind of candy.
Correction: They're opening regular Wonka bars. We see in the film that there's many types of bars, and the regular seem to be the bottom of the line. So, Mr. Salt probably just bought as many of the bottom line as he could to minimize costs, and also maximize the chance of getting a ticket by the added volume of candy bars. Makes sense.

The Wolverine (2013)
Corrected entry: In the shot after Wolverine throws Yashida out the hole in the wall, you can see the light shining on his adamantium claws, even though they were cut off by Yoshida earlier in the movie and Wolverine had grown bone claws before stabbing them into Yoshida to kill him.

The Wolverine (2013)
Continuity mistake: Just as Logan and Mariko are about to enter the room at the "love hotel", the door opposite their room shows a teddy bear on the door, but when it switches to the view from inside their room the opposite door now shows a stethoscope.
Suggested correction: They're two different doors and the teddy bear room isn't opposite their room. The teddy bear room is #30 and the stethoscope room is #31.

The Wolverine (2013)
Corrected entry: When Logan and Mariko arrive at the hotel it's daylight, but when they get into the room it's night.

Weekend at Bernie's (1989)
Continuity mistake: When Gwen is with Richard and sees Bernie and wants to go thank him, the various people standing behind them change when Richard yells "no!"
Suggested correction: Incorrect, the camera is simply in a different place before and after the scream. Before Richard yells "no" there are two men, one in a black shirt, the other in white, near the left of the screen behind Richard and Gwen. These men can be seen after the scream, but on the right side of the screen. If the camera were to pan another 30° to the right you would see all the same people.
The camera isn't in a different location as the pool is in the same spot. But, there's a lot more than just 2 people who change, for example, before the scream there's about half a dozen people by the pool next to a guy in yellowish pants and black coat, but after those people are all gone and it's the man in black coat and 1 different woman.

Spin City (1996)
Corrected entry: When Dierdre first proposes a game of strip chess to Carter to prove to him that she's smarter, he denies, and says, "If it makes you feel better, by all means, believe you're smarter than me." Dierdre attempts to correct him by saying, "Smarter than I." which frustrates him into agreeing to play. But Carter got the usage right in the first place. (00:10:10)
Correction: While both "than I" or "than me" are used, in this case Carter was wrong and Dierdre's correction is correct. "than I" is used when there are 2 subjects and the "am" is implied. "than me" is only used when there is a subject and an object. In Carter's sentence both "you" and "I" are subjects (smarter than I am.) "Me" is an object pronoun and is often used in informal speaking to sound more natural, but is still not grammatically correct.

Three's Company (1977)
Navy Blues - S7-E21
Corrected entry: Jack goes into the kitchen with Janet to get "Jim Bob" Furley a glass of brandy. When Jack returns from the kitchen to hand Furley his drink, Jack trips and spills the drink all over Furley, causing Furley to give the Partnership to Jack's Navy Pal, Bill. Furley then excuses himself and heads to the bathroom to clean up. But Furley isn't supposed to have met Jack before, so he wouldn't know where the bathroom is. He goes right to it anyway without asking where it is. Lucky Bill didn't notice.
Correction: As you state, Bill didn't notice, so it was just a bad decision by a character, not a mistake. But it's also possible Bill did notice and figured "Jim Bob" guessed correctly or knows it's not that hard to guess which door is the bathroom in a small apartment.
Correction: Also, considering usually the bedroom doors were left open in most episodes and Jack came out of the kitchen with the brandy, so the only other door would be the bathroom, so it would even be easy for even a stranger to figure out.

Three's Company (1977)
Corrected entry: Janet mentions that Roper's rule of living in the building is no pets or babies allowed. Pets is one thing which is common in many apartments, but it would be unlawful to not allow babies in an apartment building.
Correction: While it would be illegal, landlords sometimes do illegal things, such as discriminate. It would also be illegal for him to deny renting to a straight man living with two women. But, Mr. Roper has been renting a long time and it wasn't until the Fair Housing Act of 1968 that made it illegal to deny renting to people with children (so less than a decade ago when the show was made). Not only may Mr. Roper be unaware of the law, but potential tenants may also be unaware of the new laws and just accept his terms. It would only be a mistake if a court ruled that Mr. Roper was acting legally.

Doubt (2008)
Character mistake: After Father Flynn has completed his first sermon, Donald Miller comes into the dressing room and says "That was some sermon, Father." Flynn then says "Hi Jim". Jim is the name of the other altar boy. He should have said Donald.
Suggested correction: Flynn says "hey, Champ", not Jim.

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Corrected entry: When Spidey saves the kid on the bridge the kid has the mask on, but when they come up now Spidey has it.
Correction: The scene cuts from Spider-Man pulling Jack up to him, but still hanging down from the bridge, (wide shot) to climbing over the railing. Jack was holding the mask when separated and Spider-Man tells him to put the mask on. But once the kid is safe he would put his mask back on to protect his identity and he had plenty of time since it's not a continuous shot.

Doom (2005)
Corrected entry: When the RRTS squad first enters the research part of the facility they take an air sample. The sample shows Chromium, Magnesium and Lead. The symbol used for lead in the movie is Ld, not Pb as it should be.
Correction: There's nothing to suggest they're using the periodic table symbols. They're just 2 letter abbreviations. These are soldiers, not scientist, so "LD" for "lead" would make more sense to them.

Marie Antoinette (2006)
Corrected entry: Throughout the movie you can see macarons, which were not invented until 1792, a year before Marie Antoniette's death.
Correction: Macarons have been around since the Middle Ages and were introduced into France in the 16th century (with the first written recipe appearing in the 17th century). "Larousse Gastronomique" (a 1938 cooking encyclopedia) cites the macaron was invented in 1791.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)
Corrected entry: Spoiler: When Luke's body disappears into the force, his robe floats away into the air, but there's no sign of his metallic hand, which should fall to the ground but instead disappears with the rest of him. And if that's what happens to clothes/objects on his person...why not the robe?
Correction: Just to add a correction, his hand is obstructed by his robe when he disappears anyway, so you can't tell one way or the other.
Correction: We don't know the extent of how this passing works and could be based on what Luke wants. But since it was only his robe that remains, and not all of his clothes, there's no reason to think Luke's hand could not pass with him. Just because we aren't told why the robe remained doesn't make it a mistake, unless there is something said in the film that would contradict this.

Fantastic Four (2015)
Corrected entry: When Reed repairs the cash machine in the foreign country, he has nearly a week of stubble, or close to that. When he gets back home, he's clean shaven.
Correction: After watching this scene, Reed (who has contorted his face to disguise himself at the register) does not have stubble, and certainly not a week's worth. There are shadows that may look like stubble, but then we watch him change back to his regular face in the car, and any growth remains the same.
I don't buy it. Reed's facial hair repeatedly disappears/reappears during the movie. It is due to the movie re-shoots. It is even mentioned on Wikipedia.
Regardless of mistakes in other scenes, this particular scene shows no evidence of a mistake.

The Dirty Dozen (1967)
Corrected entry: In the airplane before jumping, Major Reisman is asked, "How much longer?" He gets up to ask the pilot and he is not wearing a parachute, although everyone else is already suited up. They jump from the plane seconds later. (01:45:00)
Correction: And we never see the Major talking to the "driver." When the pilot gives the ready light, it's the next scene, and we don't know how much time has past, not a continuous shot. We also see only half jump and then seconds later they're all on the ground talking. They simply skipped showing the Major gearing up before the jump.

The Dirty Dozen (1967)
Continuity mistake: In the wargames scene, right after the group comes down the hill with the live artillery fire, they change arm bands from blue to red. In the next scene when they pick up the stolen jeep, everyone is wearing blue arm bands again (when they went over the hill, they were in red territory so would not have changed back to blue while walking to meet the jeep). Then when they crash the jeep, they are back in the red arm bands for the remainder of the scene.
Suggested correction: The road they were on was not in red territory, which is why everyone in the jeep was also in blue. That's why Joseph was asked what he was doing on the road and the doctor in the ambulance said he had permission to cross all lines and roadblocks.

Correction: The Alpha Station is not located outside of our solar system, nor is it located in another solar system or galaxy that would require light years of travel. It only travelled to deep space, which is anything beyond the orbit of the moon, to protect interfering with Earth. However, even before leaving Earth's orbit, alien creatures have been visiting it peacefully. The Alpha Station is a hub near Earth that other aliens have traveled too. So nearly 700 million miles (1,100 million kilometers) is a correct distance.
