Smallville (2001)

Red - S2-E4

Factual error: When Palmer is looking at the phone log, the wrong area codes are shown. Most of the list consist of the city of Topeka, with Wichita and Kansas City also seen, with a "206" area code. "206" serves the Seattle Washington area. The other area code seen is "620", which is a Kansas area code, but Topeka is in the "785" area code.

The Batman (2004)

Q & A - S1-E8

Factual error: In s01e08, "Q and A", when Yelena is playing chess, we see her use the touchscreen which represents the chessboard. However, the bottom left corner is a white square when it should be a dark square. The board is orientated incorrectly, even though the board on the floor isn't.

Quantum Leap (2022)

Atlantis - S1-E2

Factual error: At the beginning, during the launch, it's stated that it's 1998. We learn the US astronauts are on the space shuttle Atlantis to deliver the first piece of the International Space Station into orbit. However, Atlantis never had a flight in 1998. The American ISS crew flew on the Endeavor. And the Americans launched the second piece of the ISS. The first piece was launched a few weeks before by the Russians out of Kazakhstan.

Blank Check (1994)

Factual error: When Preston is using his computer to calculate how long it would take for $11 to become $1M at 3 .45% interest, the answer was 342,506 years. While it would still take a long time, it would only take about 334 years (assuming he didn't add money and interest was only compounded once a year). After just 1,000 years, he would have almost $6 quadrillion and after 342,506 years, the amount would be nearly $2 followed by 5045 zeros.

Morbius (2022)

Factual error: When Martine enters the passcode to reveal the bats, you see her hit "3" first followed by what seems to be "5" (the rest is blocked by her body). She then tells Michael his passcode is the first 6 digits of pi backwards. The first 6 digits backwards would be "951413."

Holmes & Watson (2018)

Factual error: Whether the film was set in 1892, as the newspaper showed, or 1912, which is the date the Titanic set sail, at the end, it says "Wyoming Territory, USA." However, the Territory of Wyoming become a State in 1890.

Holmes & Watson (2018)

Factual error: Some of the newspapers have the wrong date. During the opening, the article about young Sherlock is dated "Wednesday, November 24, 1870." However that was a Tuesday. Later, the article about the killer on the loose is dated "Friday, December 15, 1892." However, that was a Thursday.

Resident Alien (2021)

Family Day - S2-E5

Factual error: The phone number Harry is given has an exchange that starts with "0" (the first 3 digits after the area code). Phone numbers (in the US) can't start with "0" since that's the "operator."

Doom Patrol (2019)

Puppet Patrol - S1-E3

Factual error: When Jane is putting up the lost poster, the number to call is 1-800-saw-him. However, this is only a 6-digit phone number when it needs to be 7-digits (not including the 1-800 part).

Bishop73

Factual error: When Cyborg is looking at video footage of Linda Reed, it shows her social security number (971-33-1276). But SS numbers don't start with 9, which is reserved for ITINs.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Technically correct but ITIN's are functionally used like SSN's so the point is moot.

You missed the point of the mistake. As you say, the mistake entry is correct. Using an ITIN as a social security number is different from calling it a SSN, which is what the mistake is. It would be like calling an identification card a driver's license because you can use a driver's license as an ID card.

Episode #1.2 - S1-E2

Factual error: The episode is set in 1977 and Edmund tells Ford that Frances Farmer had a lobotomy. However, the first report of Farmer having a lobotomy came from the 1978 novel "Shadowland" by William Arnold. It was subsequently revealed that some of the events were completely made up by Arnold, including the fact she had a lobotomy. There was never any allegation or suggestion that Farmer had a lobotomy while hospitalized in the 40's.

I Am Legends - S5-E13

Factual error: The Legends are stranded in England and wait for a bus to London. However, the bus that pulls up is left-hand drive, when it should be a right-hand drive one.
