The Blacklist (2013)

Factual error: When Eddie throws Roger into the bar's storeroom (after Roger was breaking plates on his head), there's a Lucky Strike ad poster with the slogan "Be Happy, Go Lucky." However, the Be Happy, Go Lucky ad campaign didn't start until after 1948 when BDO took over advertising, and the film is set in 1947.

Factual error: When we first see Konali, he holds up his snake and we hear the distinct rattling sound that only a rattlesnake makes. However, he's not holding a rattlesnake of any kind.

Wicked City (2015)

X-Men: Days of Future Past mistake picture

Factual error: The Mountain Dew logo seen in the stadium didn't come out until 1980, despite the film being set in 1973. The changes made in 1980 were subtle, but still distinct, especially the loss of the "wave" in the "D" and the smaller hole on the "a."

Factual error: At the start of the show, it states it's 1902. However in the opening scene, the flag shown is the 1912 design, with 48 stars. In 1902 there were only 45 states.

Crossroads (2) - S8-E7

Factual error: When people begin to describe their symptoms, Dr. Deyoung says the "virus" could be a number of things, but then lists bacterial diseases. Something a doctor in his field would not do, especially since the test tube that broke was already described by him as "experimental bacteria."

Timecop (1994)

Factual error: In 1929 New York, the license plates on the cars are wrong. In 1929 they used an A1-234 pattern and these are 123-456 patterns. 1921 used the 123-456 pattern, but they were white on black plates, not the black on yellow we see.

Bishop73

Factual error: After the Fort Sumter battle, Mary Todd sees the newspaper on Lincoln's desk which states "20,000 soldiers dead", and what appears to be an April 1861 date (which makes sense since that's when the Battle of Fort Sumter took place.) However, there were zero causalities at that battle. And the first major battle, First Battle of Bull Run in late 1861, didn't even see 1,000 causalities.

Bishop73

Factual error: At the start of the war, it says Fort Sumter 1861. However, on the battlefield we see the US flag with 35 stars. In April 1861, there were only 33 states.

The Borgias (2011)

The Art of War - S1-E8

Factual error: After the army's retreat, as Juan Borgia is walking through the great hall, he calls the priests fleeing with the books "rats deserting a sinking ship." But then says "you're like lemmings running to your doom." However, the notion of the suicidal lemming running to its doom came from Disney's 1958 film "White Wilderness", which was later proved to be a hoax. Lemmings do not commit mass suicide nor "run to their doom" so such an analogy would never have been said, or even understood. (00:42:55)
