New this month Continuity mistake: When bringing the cannister up, the rope is rigged such that the lifting rope is under the supporting rope. But as soon as it appears on deck, the lifting rope has switched and is now over the supporting rope, and the tackle is nowhere to be seen.

Star Trek (1966)

Tomorrow is Yesterday - S1-E19

Factual error: When the Enterprise is slingshotting its way back to the "present" it uses the computer to deposit the two men at different times, The Enterprise is traveling backwards in time, so will logically meet the time when the guard was beamed up first, not after Christopher is returned to his cockpit. So the order is wrong. Should be guard then Christopher, not Christopher then guard.

Character mistake: When first considering the impact of Captain Christopher's removal from this time, Spock makes a mistake in his dialogue. He says "They show no record of any irrelevent contribution..." when it should be "relevent..."

A Mighty Wind (2003)

A Mighty Wind mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Mickey is introducing the song, Mitch is preparing to play. His hand is sometimes making the opening chord, and sometimes it's by his side. They must have used different takes for this scene and patched them together.

Sub Down (1997)

Continuity mistake: They are sitting with their gas masks on waiting for the gas to vent. Look at the reading on the "gas analyser" the needle is way in the red zone. Then a few seconds later it reels back to under the red and the green light comes on. Kind of a sudden fall.

Sub Down (1997)

Continuity mistake: We see the "gas analyser", and there are three red lights (must be a bad sign) but the needle is on the far left of the dial, far from the red zone. (Someone must have forgotten to switch it on...)

Sub Down (1997)

Continuity mistake: As we see the sub going down, the tech says "descending at 5 ft per second", and another one says "no forward motion". Cut to the sub going forward and down at considerably more than 5 ft per sec and apparently making a rumbling noise while doing it .

Sub Down (1997)

Factual error: The heroine is trying to get to come on the trip in the minisub. She is asked "Name three under-ice amphopods" The word should be "amphipods", and her answer "Gamamarus" should be "Gammarus".

Sub Down (1997)

Continuity mistake: When the sub resurfaces, we see the sail and part of the hull protruding above the ice. Where is the gash in the ice made by this sub coming through at considerable speed? How did the wings on the sail make it through with such minor damage (the port one just looks a bit bent)?
