Continuity mistake: After Tristan, Serenity and Devlin flee the hunters, the scene cuts to Yugi holding the Red Eyes Black Dragon card. At first, he has one finger pressed against the back of the card. When the shot cuts, he has two fingers pressed against the back of the card. Then in a close-up of the card, the two fingers move to the right-hand corner of the card, even though they were closer to the middle of the bottom side in the previous shot. (00:06:26)
Continuity mistake: When Tristan and Serenity get on the train, the doors close and it begins pulling out of the station. The shot then cuts, and the train is suddenly passing through the countryside. (00:12:47)
Continuity mistake: When Lumis draws the Pot of Greed card from his deck, in the shot of him drawing the card, he has two fingers along the bottom of the card. In a close-up of the card, one of his fingers is against the bottom right-hand corner of the card. His fingers go back to being along the bottom of the card in the following shot. (00:16:24)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba picks up the two Locator Cards in Lumis' coat, he is holding them both in one hand. In the next shot, he suddenly has one Locator Card in both his left and right hands. (00:16:03)
Continuity mistake: When Lumis says to Yugi, "As soon as your life points reach zero," the life point count can be seen on Yugi's duel disk. The number 4000 appears to cover the entirety of the small screen displaying the life point count. Continuity mistake: When Tea and Mokuba are stacking the boxes leading up to the ceiling window, in the establishing shot, there is a fair distance between the boxes and the ceiling window. In the next shot, the boxes are suddenly much closer to the ceiling window. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: When Umbra summons Rogue Doll, the monster card is shaded yellow (indicating that it is a Normal Monster). Seconds later, when Yugi is wondering why he would play such a weak monster, there is a brief moment where the Rogue Doll card on Umbra's duel disk is shaded orange (indicating that it is an Effect Monster). Continuity mistake: On Umbra's turn, after his life points go down to 2000, he removes a card with his right hand from the selection of cards held in his left hand. Revealing mistake: When Solomon is tending to Mokuba in the hospital, there is a wide shot where he walks over to a sink. The sink is reflected in a mirror on the wall, but the tap appears to be smaller in the reflection compared to the tap shown on the sink. (00:08:41)
Continuity mistake: When Mokuba is knocked to the ground by the hunter, his left hand is positioned beside him. In the next shot, his left hand is behind him. (00:09:10)
