Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: When Espa says "Why not give me your Locator Card now?", there are four cards in his hand. The cards are aligned so that the card that is second to his right is nearest to the bottom. Later in the scene, when he says "I don't know whether to attack your monster or give it a baby bottle", the card on his left is now nearest to the bottom. (00:02:59 - 00:03:44)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: When Joey realises that Time Wizard's ability hasn't affected Jinzo, he asks, "Where's the rust?" and his duel disk is at a slanted angle when he says this. When the shot cuts, the duel disk is at a level angle. (00:04:56)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: After Yugi says "I know Joey can beat him", it cuts back to the duel between Joey and Espa. In the shot of Joey, Rex can be seen behind him, but his bag (which was visible on the ground next to him throughout the previous episode) cannot be seen. Later in the episode, after Tristan asks Tea to give Joey a message, it cuts to a wide shot of the duel, and Rex's bag has suddenly reappeared on the ground next to him. (00:02:50 - 00:07:20)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10
Other mistake: Joey uses the ability of Time Wizard to transform the Baby Dragon monster on his field into Thousand Dragon. When Joey's duel disk is shown after realising Jinzo was unaffected, he still has the Baby Dragon card on his duel disk instead of the Thousand Dragon card. (00:04:44)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 1 - S2-E9
Continuity mistake: When Joey is about to summon his first monster, Espa says, "You'll have to think of a different move." There are two wide shots when he says this; one from his side of the field and the other from Joey's side of the field. The background extras appear to swap places between the two shots. (00:06:13)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 1 - S2-E9
Continuity mistake: Tristan watches Joey's life points go down to 2600 on the laptop. A couple of seconds later, after Trinity asks how Joey is doing, there is a wide shot where we can see the laptop screen isn't switched on. (00:08:16)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 1 - S2-E9
Continuity mistake: When Joey draws Alligator Sword from his deck, he has his index finger, middle finger, and ring finger placed against the back of the card. In a close-up of the card, Joey's middle finger and ring finger are no longer touching the back of the card. (00:17:17)
Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 1 - S2-E9
Continuity mistake: When Joey summons Alligator Sword to the field, the sword that the monster is holding is pointed forward. In the next shot, the sword is pointed to the left. (00:17:26)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 1 - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: On Yugi's first turn, he sets two cards face down on the field. When he does this, there are two women in the background wearing light green jumpers. Then there is a close-up of a monster card being placed on his duel disk, and when it cuts to the monster being summoned to the field, the jumpers that the two women were wearing have changed to bright yellow jumpers. (00:15:24)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 2 - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: When Yugi is explaining to the hunter that his deck is cluttered with so many Exodia cards that he squeezed out room for other cards needed to protect his life points, his duel disk can be seen on his arm. On the duel disk are two monster cards that are in an upright position on the disk. Later, when Yugi tells him that all of his Exodia heads have been eliminated, the two monster cards on his duel disk are now upside down. (00:09:05 - 00:11:25)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 1 - S2-E7
Revealing mistake: At the start of the duel, Yugi draws a card from his deck and says, "I draw a card from my deck, now get ready." When he says this, the cards he is holding in his hand appear to be misshapen, as the tops of the cards appear to have curvatures at the corners when they should be rectangle-shaped. (00:15:04)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 2 - S2-E8
Revealing mistake: After the hunter draws the second Exodia head card, Yugi says, "I play one card face down" and places one card in the spell/trap card slot on his duel disk. Right before he places the card in the slot, the card can already be seen inside the third slot on the duel disk (which is the slot he places the card into). (00:08:39)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 2 - S2-E8
Revealing mistake: Just as Yugi says, "I play Alpha the Magnet Warrior and Summoned Skull," the eye on his Millennium Puzzle is missing the small circular hole that is usually shown in the middle of the eye. (00:12:27)
Stalked by the Rare Hunters - S2-E6
Continuity mistake: When Joey tells the duel disk store employee that he wants to enter the tournament, the computer and keyboard in front of the employee are positioned to his left. When the shot cuts, the computer and keyboard are directly in front of him. (00:05:33)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 1 - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: When Yugi is walking through the city centre, he is holding a Locator Card. In the first shot of him, his hand appears to be covering most of the card. But in a close-up of the card, his hand appears to be touching only the bottom of it. (00:05:56)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 1 - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: When Mako starts shaking Weevil, Mai's arms are at her side. The shot cuts, and Mai's left hand is suddenly rubbing the back of her head. (00:07:15)
Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 1 - S2-E7
Continuity mistake: When the hunter says, "Let's get on with this hunt already, the sooner I can take my prize, the better," Yugi's hands are at his side. When the shot cuts to Yugi, his right hand is raised. (00:13:32)
Continuity mistake: After Kaiba summons Dragon Seeker, the duel robot begins saying "Analysing Dragon Seeker." There are six cards shown in the card slots on the robot. When the shot cuts, there are only five cards in the slots. Also, one of the slots that was empty in the previous shot now suddenly has a card in it when the shot cuts. (00:11:02)
Continuity mistake: Just after Kaiba has won the duel, a scientist says, "Shut down the power source right away," whilst standing next to Mokuba. It then cuts to a closer shot of Mokuba, and the scientist standing next to him cannot be seen. (00:15:21)
Other mistake: When Battle Ox attacks the facedown monster, it is revealed to be the monster Cyber Jar. The attack and defence points display shows that it has 900 attack points and 1000 defence points. Cyber Jar has 900 defence points, not 1000. (00:09:15)
