Continuity mistake: When Johnny summons Water Omotics, it is shown to have 1400 attack points and 1200 defence points, as shown by the point display that appears after the monster is summoned. On Johnny's next turn, in the shot of him placing the Spirit of the Harp monster card on the duel mat, the Water Omotics card can be seen, and it now has 1200 attack points and 1400 defence points. Continuity mistake: When Tea asks "What's up with him?" after Yugi walks away without hearing her, a TV broadcast behind her shows Ishtar at a press conference. Then it cuts to a shot focusing on the TV, and the microphones in front of Ishtar have changed design between shots. (00:02:21)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba sees in the past with the Millennium Necklace, the shot from above shows Kaiba hunched forward. In the next shot, he is standing upright. (00:10:34)
Revealing mistake: When Tea is standing in front of the TVs broadcasting Ishtar's press conference, there is a TV to the right of the shot where Ishtar's eyes are animated smaller compared to the TV to the left of the shot where the exact same image is broadcast. (00:02:21)
Revealing mistake: When Ishtar is telling everyone about the premiere of the Egyptian exhibit on the news, a shot of a shipping container behind Lifted is shown on the broadcast. Two of the cables that are shown along the side of the container do not appear to align with the rest of the cable that is shown over the top of the container. It looks like they were animated at different times, but were not properly merged into one another. (00:02:52)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi is handing the Millennium Puzzle to the mysterious man, in the close-up shot of the puzzle being passed over, the chain is positioned towards the front side of the puzzle. When the shot cuts, the chain is on the back side of the puzzle. (00:03:36)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi raises his Summoned Skull card, right before the close-up shot, he has two fingers pressed against the back of it. A couple of seconds later, he only has one finger pressed against it. (00:15:09)

Continuity mistake: Just after Keith destroys the Millennium Puzzle, it breaks into numerous pieces and there is only one piece of the puzzle that remains attached to the chain. Seconds later, when Bakura swings in and pushes Keith away, the puzzle is more intact than it was seconds earlier. (00:10:20)

Continuity mistake: When Joey and Tristan are trying to break the door down, there are two locks on the door: one above the door handle and one below the door handle. Later in the scene, when Joey and Tristan are about to break down the door, there is only one lock on the door. (00:15:32 - 00:15:55)
Continuity mistake: When Tea sees Yugi on the other side of the street, she says, "Yugi, wait up," and raises her right arm. When the shot cuts, her right arm is lowered. (00:02:16)

Continuity mistake: When Tea greets Solomon while he is sweeping, in the shot of Tea saying "Good morning, Mr Moto," the broomstick he is holding is held at a rotated angle. When the shot cuts to Solomon, the broomstick is held more upright and is closer to his head. (00:01:08)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi is looking at his Millennium Puzzle in the mirror, his right hand is holding onto it. His index finger appears to be positioned an inch below the top of the puzzle, level with the eye. Then it cuts to a shot of the mirror where his index finger is closer to the top of the puzzle. His finger moves back down when the shot cuts again. (00:01:25)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi is telling Tea that he was talking to the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle, his right hand is holding onto the puzzle with only his fingertips. In a close-up of the puzzle, his entire right hand is holding onto it. (00:01:57)

Continuity mistake: After the duel, Devlin apologises to Yugi for accusing him of cheating. The first shot shows a game board on a table, which features black squares and includes thin white lines separating the squares. Then it cuts to a wide shot of the room, and the white lines now appear to cover most of the game board. (00:17:40)

Continuity mistake: When Solomon is watching Yugi duel, in the wide shot, there is a crowd of people behind him. There is a kid behind him standing over the edge of a tile on the floor; this kid has grey trousers and white shoes, and there is another kid next to him wearing dark grey trousers and grey shoes. When it cuts to a closer shot of Solomon, the kid standing over the edge of the tile is wearing purple trousers and grey shoes, and the other kid is wearing light blue trousers and white/black trainers. Continuity mistake: After Solomon says "Have faith, Yugi," it cuts to a wide shot of the duelling room where Devlin's fangirls are cheering him on. In the shot, Devlin's hands are at his side. The shot then cuts to focus on Devlin, where his right forearm is suddenly raised. (00:12:16)

Revealing mistake: At the start of the episode, whilst Devlin is saying "Nice try, Yugi, but none of your monsters can withstand the force of Orgoth the Relentless," he is shaking three dice in his right hand. Aside from the green and red colouring, the dice are virtually blank. The crests have not been drawn onto them. (00:02:00)
