Continuity mistake: When Kaiba is holding the Fang of Critius card, he is holding it with two fingers pressed against the back. In the close-up of the card, his middle finger is placed over the edge of the bottom side of the card. Continuity mistake: When the main characters are investigating the run-down gas station, in the shot of Tea saying "Be careful, Tristan, this doesn't look like the safest place to be," Joey is shown looking out into the open. Continuity mistake: When Yugi looks at the Timaeus card on their way to Pegasus' building, in the close-up shot of the card, he has three curled fingers that are not touching the card, meaning he has one finger pressed against the back of it. Revealing mistake: After the briefcase has been removed from Kaiba's jet, there is a shot of Kaiba and Mokuba standing outside the door. In the shot, the KaibaCorp logo on Kaiba's belt has been drawn wrong, where there is usually a "KC" logo on the belt, but there is a "KO" logo instead. (00:02:21)
Continuity mistake: When Pegasus is sitting at his desk, he has his hands over his face. Then there is a shot from behind his desk where someone can be heard from the window, where his hands are lowered. (00:10:15)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi picks up the card that Pegasus sent him while packing, he is holding it so that the fingertips of two of his fingers can be seen going over the left-hand side of the card. In a close-up of the card, the two fingertips cannot be seen going over the side of the card. Then, in the shot after that, the fingertips are going over the side of the card again. (00:11:10)
Continuity mistake: When the plane is about to land, in a shot from outside the plane, Yugi has his hand placed on the window. It then cuts to a shot from inside the plane, and Yugi's hand is much closer to the edge of the window frame. (00:15:20)
