Continuity mistake: When Yugi summons Dark Magician Girl to the field in defence mode, another version of the card appears beneath it. The corners of the card are hovering over lines of light on the floor, caused by the Seal of Orichalcos card. A few seconds later, when Yugi ends his turn, the card appears to have moved away from the lines of light, as they cannot be seen on the floor under the card. (00:16:53)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi activates the New World Circle spell card, there is a shot of him with his right arm raised while holding the card. In this shot, the other cards that he is holding in his left hand are pointed upwards. Revealing mistake: In the vision, when younger Rafael runs past older Rafael and Yugi, Rafael turns around to chase after him. Yugi then says, "Rafael, wait," and his eyes appear to be misaligned. (00:02:54)

Continuity mistake: Yugi activates Five Star Twilight to summon the five Kuriboh brothers to the field. When the monsters appear on the field, the Kuriboh card can be seen in the third monster card zone on his duel disk. Seconds later, after Yugi uses the effect of the Kuribohs to lower the attack points of Rafael's monster, the Kuriboh card cannot be seen on his duel disk and has been replaced with another copy of one of the other Kuriboh brother monster cards. Continuity mistake: When Guardian Eatos destroys Big Shield Gardna, the other characters are happy that Dark Magician wasn't destroyed. Mokuba then points out, "That's true, but he gets to attack again," and raises his forearms while closing his hands into fists. When the shot cuts, his left forearm is suddenly lowered. (00:09:38)

Continuity mistake: After Joey's soul is taken away, Yugi says, "Oh, no," and Tea and Tristan stop running. At this moment, Yugi's deck can be seen inside his duel disk. A few seconds later, when Yugi looks up at the dragon on the roof, the deck has disappeared from the duel disk. (00:18:47)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba stands in front of Mokuba to protect him from the monsters, in the shot of Mokuba saying, "But they're not gone yet, those goons won't give up," Kaiba's arms are at his side. Continuity mistake: When Mai activates the Elegant Egotist spell card, she is shown inserting the card into the fourth slot on her duel disk. But in the next shot, the card is inserted into the first slot on the duel disk. (00:10:07)

Continuity mistake: When Mai activates the Spell Reproduction spell card, she is shown inserting the card into the duel disk with her right hand. Also, her left hand is pointed to the right. Continuity mistake: Joey draws a card from his deck, says, "I'll place one card face down on the field," and inserts the card into a slot on his duel disk. He is holding the card with two fingers, but when the card is inserted into the slot in the next shot, he is holding it with three fingers. (00:16:13)

Revealing mistake: Just before Joey's life points go down to 800, there is a shot of him almost collapsing to the ground but still managing to stand up. In the shot, the cards in his hand are missing the illustrations. (00:11:05)

Continuity mistake: Joey uses his Cyber-Tech Alligator to destroy one of Mai's Cyber Harpie monsters, meaning there were two Cyber Harpies on the field before the attack, but only one after the attack. Only one Cyber Harpie card can be seen on Mai's duel disk after the attack. When Mai says, "You're pretty confident for someone who's about to lose," there are two Cyber Harpie cards on her duel disk, even though there should be one. (00:16:50 - 00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi sees the Seal of Orichalcos in the sky, he stops running and has his right forearm pointed to the right. In the next shot, his right forearm is closer to his side. (00:17:51)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba and Mokuba are standing in front of the monsters, the establishing shot of the scene shows the car parked in the middle of the road. The buildings on both sides of the street are parallel with the car, which would indicate that the car is directly facing the monsters. When the shot cuts, the car is rotated and facing away from the monsters. (00:02:20)
