The Master of Magicians: Part 1 - S2-E11

Continuity mistake: On Arkana's first turn, the Dark Magician card can be seen as one of the cards in his hand. The card next to Dark Magician appears to be a monster card where an axe is featured in the artwork. Over a minute later, when Arkana realises he'll have to discard the cards in his hand, the monster card next to Dark Magician has been replaced with a different monster card (possibly Alligator Sword, a card used by Joey in the previous episode). Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When Joey activates the spell card Scapegoat, there are two background extras behind him to the left of the frame that change position between shots. One is a man in a blue sleeveless jacket whose arms are crossed in one shot, then uncrossed when the shot cuts. Another is a woman with a pink bag whose body is rotated in Joey's direction and her left forearm raised, but is facing directly forwards and her left arm is lowered when the shot cuts. (00:07:39)

The Master of Magicians: Part 1 - S2-E11

Continuity mistake: When Ishtar asks Marik, "You'd use your Millennium Rod on your own flesh and blood, Marik?", the following shot shows Marik pointing the rod directly forward towards her. When it cuts to a closer shot of Marik, the rod is now held at an upright angle, tilted slightly to the left. (00:05:35)

Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When Espa says "Why not give me your Locator Card now?", there are four cards in his hand. The cards are aligned so that the card that is second to his right is nearest to the bottom. Later in the scene, when he says "I don't know whether to attack your monster or give it a baby bottle", the card on his left is now nearest to the bottom. (00:02:59 - 00:03:44)

Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: After Yugi says "I know Joey can beat him", it cuts back to the duel between Joey and Espa. In the shot of Joey, Rex can be seen behind him, but his bag (which was visible on the ground next to him throughout the previous episode) cannot be seen. Later in the episode, after Tristan asks Tea to give Joey a message, it cuts to a wide shot of the duel, and Rex's bag has suddenly reappeared on the ground next to him. (00:02:50 - 00:07:20)

Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 2 - S2-E10

Other mistake: Joey uses the ability of Time Wizard to transform the Baby Dragon monster on his field into Thousand Dragon. When Joey's duel disk is shown after realising Jinzo was unaffected, he still has the Baby Dragon card on his duel disk instead of the Thousand Dragon card. (00:04:44)

Espa Roba: The ESP Duelist - Part 1 - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: When Joey is about to summon his first monster, Espa says, "You'll have to think of a different move." There are two wide shots when he says this; one from his side of the field and the other from Joey's side of the field. The background extras appear to swap places between the two shots. (00:06:13)

Yugi vs. the Rare Hunter: Part 1 - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: On Yugi's first turn, he sets two cards face down on the field. When he does this, there are two women in the background wearing light green jumpers. Then there is a close-up of a monster card being placed on his duel disk, and when it cuts to the monster being summoned to the field, the jumpers that the two women were wearing have changed to bright yellow jumpers. Duel Identity, Part II - S1-E30

Character mistake: Yugi mistakenly says if he doesn't get a monster out to defend himself Mai can attack him directly, which wouldn't be possible since the rules of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom arc forbade direct attacks on defenseless opponents. That rule wouldn't be implemented until the Battle City arc.
