Continuity mistake: When Yugi is holding the Fiend's Sanctuary card, he is holding it with the side of his index finger pressed against the back of the card. A couple of seconds later, after Yugi asks Kaiba what the meaning of this is, he now has two fingers pressed against the back of the card. (00:02:08)

The Final Face Off: Part 1 - S3-E41

Continuity mistake: When Joey, Tea, Tristan and Devlin are telling Yugi not to let Marik psych him out, Joey is standing in front of the other three and Devlin is standing directly in front of Tristan. When the shot cuts to an angle behind them, Devlin is now in front of Tristan to his right, Joey and Devlin are aligned with one another, and Tea is standing on Joey's left, despite being directly behind him in the previous shot. Battle for the Bronze: Part 3 - S3-E40

Continuity mistake: When Joey tells Marik, "You have no idea who you're messing with," his right fist is raised, with his arm pointed toward the left side of his body. When the shot cuts, his right fist is pointed forward, with his arm positioned directly in front of him. (00:17:36)

Battle for the Bronze: Part 3 - S3-E40

Continuity mistake: After Marik and the main characters meet up at the top of the tower, it cuts to Kaiba, Mokuba and Ishizu standing on the ground below. In the wide shot, Mokuba and Ishizu are standing side by side and Kaiba is behind Mokuba, and all three are directly facing the tower. When the shot cuts, Kaiba and Mokuba are standing at a rotated angle in order to face the tower. (00:18:14)

Other mistake: When Yugi draws the Cyber Jar card from his deck, the front side of the card can be seen briefly. In this brief moment, it is a spell card and not a monster card. It becomes a monster card when he goes to set it a few seconds later. (00:07:25)

Battle for the Bronze: Part 1 - S3-E38

Continuity mistake: After Joey and Kaiba draw their cards, there is a wide shot where the other characters can be seen to the right of shot. In the wide shot, Tristan can be seen standing behind Yugi, on his left. Devlin then says, "I don't think I've ever seen Joey this confident before," and Tristan is now behind Yugi on his right. Continuity mistake: When the duel starts, in the shot of Joey saying "I've got a duel to win," Tea can be seen standing next to Yugi. A minute later, when Yugi says "I'd say he has a good chance at finally defeating Kaiba," Tea cannot be seen next to Yugi. Then, two shots after that, Tea can be seen standing next to Yugi again. Continuity mistake: When Yugi sees that the Millennium Puzzle is glowing, he grabs ahold of it with his hand. Part of the chain attached to the puzzle can be seen lying on top of it. When the shot cuts, the chain on top of the puzzle has changed position to be hanging over a different corner. (00:07:50)

Clash in the Coliseum: Part 3 - S3-E34

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba realises Yugi was able to avoid losing the duel by discarding Kuriboh, he says, "How dare you defy the might of Obelisk with that puny Kuriboh," with his right forearm raised, while his hand is closed into a fist. When the shot cuts, his forearm is lowered. (00:11:17)

Clash in the Coliseum: Part 4 - S3-E35

Continuity mistake: When Marik says he needs to make sure Kaiba's link to his Millennium Rod doesn't interfere with his plan, his left hand is positioned right below the two loops near the top of the rod. It then fades to a closer shot of the Millennium Rod, and his hand is suddenly away from the two loops. (00:09:54)

Duel Identity, Part II - S1-E30

Character mistake: Yugi mistakenly says if he doesn't get a monster out to defend himself Mai can attack him directly, which wouldn't be possible since the rules of Duel Monsters during the Duelist Kingdom arc forbade direct attacks on defenseless opponents. That rule wouldn't be implemented until the Battle City arc.
