Revealing mistake: When Kaiba walks over to the Egyptian tablet that Ishtar is talking about, there is a shot of him walking over to her, but once he reaches her, there is a brief moment of him continuing to walk on the spot, without moving forwards, before turning to face the tablet. Continuity mistake: When Yugi is sitting on his bed with the Millennium Puzzle, in the first shot, there is a fair distance between his feet and the puzzle. When the shot cuts, the puzzle is closer to his feet. (00:06:12)
Revealing mistake: When Ishtar is telling everyone about the premiere of the Egyptian exhibit on the news, a shot of a shipping container behind Lifted is shown on the broadcast. Two of the cables that are shown along the side of the container do not appear to align with the rest of the cable that is shown over the top of the container. It looks like they were animated at different times, but were not properly merged into one another. (00:02:52)
Revealing mistake: When Tea is standing in front of the TVs broadcasting Ishtar's press conference, there is a TV to the right of the shot where Ishtar's eyes are animated smaller compared to the TV to the left of the shot where the exact same image is broadcast. (00:02:21)
Continuity mistake: When Tea asks "What's up with him?" after Yugi walks away without hearing her, a TV broadcast behind her shows Ishtar at a press conference. Then it cuts to a shot focusing on the TV, and the microphones in front of Ishtar have changed design between shots. (00:02:21)
Continuity mistake: When Tea sees Yugi on the other side of the street, she says, "Yugi, wait up," and raises her right arm. When the shot cuts, her right arm is lowered. (00:02:16)

Continuity mistake: When Joey, Tea and Tristan run up to the burning building, in the shot from behind them, once they stop running, Tea is several feet ahead of Joey and Tristan. In the next shot, Joey and Tristan are much closer to Tea. Then, in the shot after that, Tea is suddenly behind Tristan. (00:14:48)

Continuity mistake: Just after Keith destroys the Millennium Puzzle, it breaks into numerous pieces and there is only one piece of the puzzle that remains attached to the chain. Seconds later, when Bakura swings in and pushes Keith away, the puzzle is more intact than it was seconds earlier. (00:10:20)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi raises his Summoned Skull card, right before the close-up shot, he has two fingers pressed against the back of it. A couple of seconds later, he only has one finger pressed against it. (00:15:09)

Continuity mistake: After the duel, Devlin apologises to Yugi for accusing him of cheating. The first shot shows a game board on a table, which features black squares and includes thin white lines separating the squares. Then it cuts to a wide shot of the room, and the white lines now appear to cover most of the game board. (00:17:40)

Continuity mistake: After Solomon says "Have faith, Yugi," it cuts to a wide shot of the duelling room where Devlin's fangirls are cheering him on. In the shot, Devlin's hands are at his side. The shot then cuts to focus on Devlin, where his right forearm is suddenly raised. (00:12:16)

Revealing mistake: When Yugi tells Devlin, "There, I'll add four attack crests from my Crest Pool to the two attack crests I just rolled, giving my knight a total of six attack crests," part of his neck can be seen passing over the lanyard holding up the Millennium Puzzle. (00:08:48)
