Revealing mistake: When Solomon puts the water bottle to Hawkins' mouth, Hawkins starts drinking from it. The mouthpiece doesn't actually go inside Hawkins' mouth; it is just lightly pressed against his lips, but he has no difficulty drinking from it. (00:17:57)

Continuity mistake: When Rebecca says to herself, "But he's never been up against a genius before," there are five cards in her hand, but in a close-up shot of the cards, there are six cards in her hand. (00:09:50)
Other mistake: When Rebecca summons Cannon Soldier to the field, the attack and defence points display shows that it has 400 attack points. Cannon Soldier has 1400 attack points, as shown when it can be seen on Rebecca's duel mat. (00:16:38)
Continuity mistake: After the Witch of the Black Forest is destroyed, it cuts to Rebecca talking to her teddy bear. The monster card can be seen to the left of the shot at a rotated angle, but in a close-up of the card, it has changed position. (00:12:20)
Continuity mistake: After Tea puts Pegasus' diary back on the desk, Yugi notices three blank soul cards next to the diary. A couple of seconds later, when Yugi walks over to the desk after everyone runs out, the soul cards are facing the opposite direction. (00:11:55)
Continuity mistake: When Tea is reading Pegasus's diary, in a wide shot, Joey is sitting in a chair, positioned 90 degrees perpendicular to Tea. When the shot cuts, Joey is facing Tea directly. (00:11:28)

Continuity mistake: Just after Pegasus loses the duel, it cuts to Joey, Tea and Tristan. Tea is standing behind Joey and Tristan, but when the shot cuts, she is standing ahead of them. (00:16:13)

Continuity mistake: When Pegasus summons Dark-Eyes Illusionist, in the shot of him placing the card on the duel mat, it has 1400 defence points. But once it appears on the field, the attack and defence points display shows that it has 0 attack and defence points. (00:05:43)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi says, "This place always gives me the creeps," Pegasus can be seen in the background of the shot. The cards in his hands are missing the black oval shapes that are usually shown on the back of the cards. The black ovals suddenly reappear on the cards a few seconds later in the next shot of Pegasus. (00:04:52)

Continuity mistake: When Joey, Tea, and Tristan run up to the shadow cloud, in a shot from behind the trio, Joey is standing ahead of Tristan, plus a few inches to Tristan's right. When the shot cuts, Joey is directly in front of Tristan. (00:04:45)

Continuity mistake: After Tristan has returned to the duelling area, in the wide shot where Tristan asks "What's the deal with the indoor thunderstorm?", Joey and Tea are standing next to each other with a two-foot gap in between them. In the next shot, they are suddenly closer together. (00:04:30)

Continuity mistake: When Pegasus tells Yugi, "You're one step away from becoming world champion," there are three cards in his hand. Seconds later, when Pegasus tells Yugi that he plans to take his Millennium Puzzle, there are four cards in his hand. (00:17:48)

Audio problem: When Bakura tells Tristan to hand over Mokuba or else he'll suffer the same fate as the guards, he starts doing an evil chuckle, but his mouth is open and it doesn't move. (00:17:30)

Revealing mistake: When Bakura drags Tristan and Mokuba back after almost falling over the edge, the animation for the Millennium Ring he is wearing appears to be incomplete. Specifically, the triangle is missing the eye that is shown on it. (00:17:39)

Continuity mistake: Pegasus switches Ryu-Ran to attack mode so that it can attack Summoned Skull. A few minutes after this happens, when he says, "But even without my millennium magic, you're no match for me," Ryu-Ran can be seen on the duel mat in defence mode. (00:03:40 - 00:08:18)

Continuity mistake: When Bakura uses a spell card to stop the security guards, he says to Tristan, "Now is our chance to escape," whilst the hand holding the card is raised. When the shot cuts, it is lowered. (00:07:29)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi draws Summoned Skull from his deck, in the shot of Yugi looking at the card, the two fingers that are not holding onto the card are away from the card. But in the next shot, the two fingers are closer to the card. (00:19:03)

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the episode, when Pegasus reads Yugi's mind to see which cards are in his hand, there are two face-down cards positioned on the top right of the duel mat.
