Continuity mistake: Snowy finds a bone. He bites down on the middle of it. When Tintin takes the bone off him a few seconds later, Snowy is suddenly biting the near end of it. (00:01:15)

Continuity mistake: After killing all of the assassins, Frank places bullets in a frying pan and turns the stove on. When the bullets go off, the rest of the assassins start shooting at the house, destroying a snowman on Frank's porch. In all future shots of the porch afterwards, not only has the snowman disappeared, but there's also no sign of the snowman's remains either. (00:09:05)

Other mistake: Whilst examining the wrapper with "Karaboudjan" written on it, the "K" is a centimeter away from the letter "A" and all the other letters are about a fifth of a centimeter away from the letters. Tintin then places a magnifying glass above the word "Karaboudjan." After doing this, the "K" that was a centimeter away from the "A" is now a fifth of a centimeter away from the "A", but none of the other letters seem to have changed distances. This all occurs within the same shot. (00:05:15)

Revealing mistake: Someone walking besides the stopped train tells Tintin the track was washed out. There is one person with a white/beige package. Part way during the shot, an eighth of the package goes brown for a frame then back to white/beige. (00:29:55)

Continuity mistake: Tintin is on the train with passengers in the rows in front and behind him. The train stops and the next shot shows Tintin opening the window - the passengers seen earlier have suddenly vanished. (00:29:45)
