Continuity mistake: When Yugi summons Dark Magician Girl to the field in defence mode, another version of the card appears beneath it. The corners of the card are hovering over lines of light on the floor, caused by the Seal of Orichalcos card. A few seconds later, when Yugi ends his turn, the card appears to have moved away from the lines of light, as they cannot be seen on the floor under the card. (00:16:53)

Continuity mistake: Yugi activates Five Star Twilight to summon the five Kuriboh brothers to the field. When the monsters appear on the field, the Kuriboh card can be seen in the third monster card zone on his duel disk. Seconds later, after Yugi uses the effect of the Kuribohs to lower the attack points of Rafael's monster, the Kuriboh card cannot be seen on his duel disk and has been replaced with another copy of one of the other Kuriboh brother monster cards. When Mai says, "You're pretty confident for someone who's about to lose," there are two Cyber Harpie cards on her duel disk, even though there should be one. (00:16:50 - 00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba and Mokuba are standing in front of the monsters, the establishing shot of the scene shows the car parked in the middle of the road. The buildings on both sides of the street are parallel with the car, which would indicate that the car is directly facing the monsters. When the shot cuts, the car is rotated and facing away from the monsters. (00:02:20)
