Continuity mistake: When Yugi activates the New World Circle spell card, there is a shot of him with his right arm raised while holding the card. In this shot, the other cards that he is holding in his left hand are pointed upwards. Revealing mistake: After Yugi has activated the Magical Pigeon spell card, there is a shot of him asking Rafael if he is confused, before explaining what the spell card does. In this shot, the cards Yugi is holding in his hand are missing the illustrations. (00:17:54)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi summons Dark Magician Girl to the field in defence mode, another version of the card appears beneath it. The corners of the card are hovering over lines of light on the floor, caused by the Seal of Orichalcos card. A few seconds later, when Yugi ends his turn, the card appears to have moved away from the lines of light, as they cannot be seen on the floor under the card. (00:16:53)

Continuity mistake: When Yugi summons Watapon to the field, after placing the card on the duel disk, he moves his right hand away from the duel disk so that it is pointed to the left. The Watapon monster then appears on the field and his right hand is suddenly pulled back and is over the duel disk. Then, in the shot after that, his right hand is back to being pointed to the left. Continuity mistake: When Guardian Eatos destroys Big Shield Gardna, the other characters are happy that Dark Magician wasn't destroyed. Mokuba then points out, "That's true, but he gets to attack again," and raises his forearms while closing his hands into fists. When the shot cuts, his left forearm is suddenly lowered. (00:09:38)

Continuity mistake: After the attack points of Guardian Eatos have gone up to 7000, there is a shot of Yugi that shows him with his left arm raised and then lowers it. In the next shot, his left forearm is suddenly raised. (00:07:26)
