Continuity mistake: During Mitch's memorial, in the shot from behind Hollie, she places the mic on the stage floor directly in front of the multi-lamp borderlights, mounted at the edge of the entire stage. In the next shot facing Hollie from the audience POV, all four borderlights - each is 6-7 feet long - are actually gone and the entire stage's wood edge is clearly seen. They are back in all following shots, except one, from the same angle, and they were also gone when Hollie said, "Something huge," earlier. (01:35:00)

Continuity mistake: When Hollie tap dances during Mitch's memorial, both Dale and Drew stand up clapping, as Drew is wildly woo-hoo-ing. However, in the next shot facing the audience, both Dale and Drew are still sitting, until they both stand again in the next shot. (01:36:00)

Continuity mistake: After his father's funeral, when Drew turns on the ignition and in following shots, the leather band that he wears on his right wrist (not the watch) is clasped with its strap facing his thumb, yet when he passes the sign for 60B, the band goes round the opposite way. Then, when he listens to The Hombres the leather band is flipped back, but when he picks up Global Business Today magazine it's switched yet again, and so on. (01:43:00)

Continuity mistake: In the Great Hall, after Hermione quips, "Well spotted!" Ron imitates his brother (when he asked Angelina to the Yule Ball) by lifting up his arms to mimic dancing, and Snape promptly smacks the back of Ron's head. Continuity mistake: In the Gryffindor common room, after Ron heads up to the dorm, Harry realizes Sirius has gone. In the close-up of the Daily Prophet, the unwrinkled headline "Teenage Tragedy" is displayed prominently as the newspaper burns up, whereas in the previous shot (before Harry's close-up) the "Teenage" part of the headline is unseen. Continuity mistake: In the dorm, after Ron moans, "Yeah, that's me, Harry Potter's stupid friend" as Harry leaves his bed and walks to Ron, there is a single rectangular window beside his bed and another window about a foot above it. Later, after the Yule Ball, in the exterior zoom-in shot the crow flies toward the side-by-side double window, arched at the top, as it heads for the window sill, and in the next interior shot, the crow lands on the sill as Harry sleeps beside that window. Continuity mistake: In the maze, when Cedric says, "For a moment there I thought you were gonna let it get me," the tear on his shirt, at his right shoulder, is directly on the seam and quite frayed. At the cemetery, when Harry says, "Cedric, we have to get back to the cup. Now!" the tear is not on the seam, and it's smooth with blackened edges. Back in the maze, when Amos approaches his son's body, the tear differs yet again. The dirt on Cedric's shirt changes as well. (01:58:20 - 01:59:40)

Continuity mistake: When Harry and Cedric are transported to the cemetery, the Triwizard cup lands on the grassy slope, well beyond the Riddle monument, with its luminescent top facing away from the cauldron area. During Priori Incantatem, three shots after Voldemort exclaims, "He's mine!" the cup lies on the corner of the Riddle monument's stone base and it faces the opposite way. The cup is back up on the grassy area in the following shots. (01:19:00 - 01:28:40)

Continuity mistake: In the Great Hall, when Ron takes the dress robe out of the box, there is a plate beside Hermione which has two utensils on its left side and one utensil on its right. Continuity mistake: In the Great Hall, when Harry dribbles on himself, the plate to Hermione's right (as she holds The Daily Prophet up) has food and utensils lying on it. However, in the following shots, there is only an empty plate with utensils set on both sides, beside Hermione. (01:05:00)

Continuity mistake: In the Triwizard champions' tent, Rita's photographer captures the moving photograph of Hermione and Harry hugging, and subsequently letting go of each other. Later, when Hermione reads from The Daily Prophet, just before Ron opens his package, in the close-up of the newspaper their hug, the release, and where they both stand are entirely different in the moving photograph. Continuity mistake: After Frank places the kettle on the burner, when he steps in front of the sink in the wideshot, the window is behind the sink, in front of Frank. There are plants on the sill that reach the window handles. However, after Frank sees the mansion light and puts the teapot down, in the close-up of the window the center plant is gone and the left plant is different. (00:01:30)

Continuity mistake: When Frank Bryce places the silver water kettle on the flame, the round ceramic lid rests on the counter, beside the small ceramic teapot. However, in the next shot, as Frank steps toward the sink, the ceramic lid is actually on the small teapot. (00:01:20)

Continuity mistake: When Rita grabs Harry to interview him, in the next shot, as the Quick-Quotes Quill springs up, the paint can, brushes, etc are on the steps. Their positions change in the Quill's first close-up, as it writes in the notebook. (00:39:55)
