Visible crew/equipment: When the crow is on the cross Caine tells the crowd there's nothing to be afraid of in a bird, and just as he explains that it's only a creature of the earth, the shadow of the animal trainer can be seen motioning to the trained bird, then it flies off and lands on the trainer's hand. Funny to see Caine and the crowd turn and pretend to watch the bird fly in the opposite direction. (00:28:10)

Continuity mistake: At Skull Rock, when Captain Hook is swallowed by the crocodile Smee conks him on the head, and while Hook is underwater note that he has a left hand and his hook is at his right side, but it should be the opposite way. (00:45:00)

Other mistake: While Indy and Henry are aboard the zeppelin Indy tosses Vogel out the lounge window, and when Vogel shouts up to the departing airship, in the next exterior shot we see the zeppelin airborne against a scenic view. Later, when Indy realises the zeppelin is turning around it cuts to another exterior shot of the airship, and the scenic view is identical to the earlier shot, only it's been flipped. The images of the zeppelin facing two different directions were composited onto the same scenic background.

Continuity mistake: After Sabrina gets off the phone with Faylon, when she leaves her hotel room we see the exterior side of the door and its door knob. Later, when Sabrina returns to her room the doorjamb/casing, wall, and door knob are not the same in the closeup as she fiddles with the lock. Sabrina's ring vanishes in the closeup as well. Continuity mistake: When Indy comes face-to-face with Hitler he hands over Henry's diary with its black elastic around the back cover, but in the closeup as the signature is being signed the elastic is around the front cover, then it's around the back cover again when Indy takes the diary back.
