Continuity mistake: When Muriel disappears after she's been accused, everybody rushes back up the secret passageway stairs to find her, and in the first shot facing the group there's a large green desk pad on the desk, but in the next shot that desk pad has vanished (and it reappears when they split into groups). Continuity mistake: When Lois and Peter pack their suitcases and leave the room, as Lois walks down the hall she stops at Diane's open door. In this first shot from the hall there are double doors and a blank wall opposite Diane's open door, but in the next shot from inside Diane's room there's a painting hanging on the wall opposite her door. Continuity mistake: When Peter and Lois are packing their suitcases, in the first shot Lois is removing things from the dresser's wide middle drawer, but as Peter and Lois walk out of their room that wide drawer has been replaced with two small drawers in the middle. (00:39:30)

Continuity mistake: In numerous shots we see the interior layout of the dining room, with the four sets of two story windows behind the arm chair at the head of the table. After Tom is accused of being the murderer, when he's captured in the dining room they're all behind the arm chair as they crack a joke about Adrien Brody. The problem occurs as the shot pulls backwards through the window, which is an average bay window instead of the four sets of two story windows. (00:37:35)

Continuity mistake: When Joe is dispatched to the domestic disturbance, while he's in the house with the couple Joe's badge quite instantly switches to the opposite side of his shirt, then it's back to its original side. (00:11:10)

Continuity mistake: At the start, while Peter and the kids are watching TV, the buttons on Peter's shirt are on his left side, but in Peter's closeup the buttons switch to his right side, where they usually are. The switching happens again in following shots.

Continuity mistake: While Lois is in the Paris hotel suite packing her suitcase there are two doors behind her, and Bonnie opens one of those doors. The other door has its door knob on the left side of the door, but when Lois walks over and opens that other door to reveal Joe, its door knob is now at the right side of the door. (00:18:00)

Continuity mistake: When Mayor West and Carol are walking on the beach, the buttons on West's suit switch to the opposite side, and this occurs again in later scenes. When Carol and West get engaged, the buttons on Lois' blouse switch sides as well. When Carol's ex-husband, Randall, gives Peter the bag of fish, Randall's buttons also switch from the left to right between shots. (00:06:30)

Continuity mistake: When Carol's taxi stops in front of the house Lois rushes out to welcome her sister, and in the first shot the semaphore flag is attached to the curbside mailbox with its "L" shape facing the ground, but in the next shot as Quagmire shows up, the flag is now attached to the mailbox the opposite way. Continuity mistake: Rock-a-Bye Bivalve: When Patrick gets home from the party after midnight SpongeBob is angry, and as Patrick walks out in the interior shot the front door is wide open on the inside of the home, but in the next exterior shot the front door is wide open on the outside of the pineapple.

Continuity mistake: During their lightsaber duel, Luke is holding his lightsaber when Vader cuts off his right hand, then Luke's hand and his lightsaber fall away so he loses both. However, after Luke is rescued by the Millennium Falcon, when the door opens as Lando helps an injured Luke, we can see the hilt of Luke's lightsaber hanging from his belt as he hugs Leia.
