Continuity mistake: When Bart falls off the roof and grabs hold of the rain gutter, it's one continuous seamless piece of trough material, but in the following shots that gutter consists of a few connected sections. (00:08:05)

Continuity mistake: There's a tiled patio at the back of the house with a total of twelve large tiles, but when the house goes down the sinkhole there are sixteen tiles in total. Plus the fact that when Bart's on the roof hanging from the gutter the tiles below are white (they also appear white when the house falls into the sinkhole), but when the dome is placed over Springfield the tiles are brownish-orange.

Continuity mistake: When Marge gets into the car and tucks the wedding video into her hair, the rearview mirror is attached to the roof of the car, but as the mob carries the car to the backyard the rearview mirror is now attached to the windshield.

Deliberate mistake: During the fire Marge runs back into the house and goes to the kitchen cabinet that has a "keepsake cabinet" nameplate and a keyhole, in order to remove the wedding video, but the nameplate and keyhole didn't exist before. (00:33:35)

Continuity mistake: There's a water spigot under the window on the wall at the front of the house, near the garage door, which can be seen after the lake is blocked off, but this spigot didn't exist right before Bart skateboarded naked, then it vanishes again and reappears during the fire.

Continuity mistake: After Marge shouts into the megaphone for the bomb to be thrown, it cuts to Homer and Bart while they're riding sideways on the motorcycle, and the bomb's under Bart's left arm while he's holding onto Homer with his right hand, but in the following shots the bomb's under Bart's right arm while he's holding Homer with his left hand.

Continuity mistake: After the Quad Jumper blows up, when Rey, Finn, and BB-8 run to the "garbage" they're running quickly toward the Falcon's forward side - note the cockpit, with its entry ramp lowered and nothing blocking its way, but in the next closeup they're all running from the rear of the Falcon before they rush up its entry ramp. Continuity mistake: During Rey's lightsaber duel with Kylo Ren, a few shots after Rey does the flip and slices the tree branch, there's a long shot of them in the forest as they're both moving past very distinctive fallen trees around them, and after a few closeups as Kylo keeps advancing on Rey, at the start of the next long shot (right before the chasm first appears behind Rey) they're back to being where they were in the previous long shot. Continuity mistake: After Rey's lightsaber battle with Kylo Ren, when the Falcon appears in the wideshot Rey's head is turned to look at the Falcon behind her, to her left, with Finn to her right, but in Rey's two closeups - before and after that wideshot, she's looking straight ahead at the Falcon, with Finn lying directly in front of her.
