Visible crew/equipment: After Greene lets Magnum off without charges it cuts to Magnum in the Ferrari, and when he decides to find someone who knew "Mac" there's an overhead long shot as the car pulls to the side of the road (to make a U-turn), and in this long shot the second camera with crew members are visible at the left side of the screen. The next shot is the footage of the Ferrari making the sharp U-turn, that had been filmed by that second camera. Additionally, in the previous closeups facing Magnum during the short drive, the reflections on the lenses of his sunglasses are not normal, due to the dark screen where the camera is located. Continuity mistake: When Magnum finds Higgins waiting for him in the guesthouse Higgins asks for his advice, then Magnum goes to the fridge and removes a milk container with his left hand and a bowl with his right hand, but in the next closeup the milk container and bowl have switched hands. Continuity mistake: While we hear Higgins in voiceover as the flame is moved closer to his hand, there is a segue to Magnum's voiceover as he reads the typed words of Higgins' memoir, which we see onscreen. The problem is Magnum reads, "I knew I had no information to give them," yet those words are not actually typed on the paper. (00:39:15)

Visible crew/equipment: After Magnum and Emily are shot at while in the parking garage, it cuts to Higgins telling Magnum that it wasn't his fault, and as the camera moves the actor's white tape mark becomes visible on the rug, beside his feet. (00:33:55)

Visible crew/equipment: When TC first starts singing "Under the Boardwalk" while he's fixing the chopper, just as he leans over the toolbox, the legs of a crew member wearing jeans are visible under the chopper, at the left side of the screen. It cannot be Rick, who's wearing white slacks, or Higgins, who's wearing his typical trousers, or Magnum, who's in shorts since he removed the Santa suit. (00:15:55)
