Continuity mistake: When Ziva and Tony head out to bring in Lieutenant Napleton, in the first shot Tony grabs his jacket then holds it in his left hand, as he reaches down with his right hand to grab his backpack. Next shot Tony is now holding his jacket in his right hand, as he's reaching for his backpack with his left hand. (00:15:45)

Deliberate mistake: When Tony's holding the cat's carrot toy he's nearly bitten, and the Probies laugh. Then while Tony directs his amusing fictional rant at one Probie, just as Tony asks, "Getting a kick out of this now, think this is funny?" this closeup is flipped. (00:08:50)

Continuity mistake: After Naomi apologizes to Cyn for hitting him on the head, in the shot facing Naomi she reaches for Cyn's brandy with her right arm extended, but next shot it's her left arm extended. Then Naomi holds the brandy bottle with her left hand and removes the brandy's cap with her right, but in the next semi-closeup the bottle and cap have switched hands. (00:23:10)

Continuity mistake: When Tony spots Wilkerson's car in the mall's garage, in the first closeup of the Jetta the trunk has neither the Jetta badge nor the VW emblem, but in following shots both the Jetta badge and VW emblem are attached to the trunk. (00:14:55 - 00:16:55)

Continuity mistake: While Caitlin and Tony are at the hospital in Jeremy Davison's room, when Michelle walks in there are two closeups of Jeremy handcuffed to the bed rail. In the first closeup the handcuff is around his wrist with the double bar facing up, but in the second closeup as Caitlin uncuffs him it's the opposite way, with the single bar facing up. (00:27:55)

Visible crew/equipment: When Agent Fornell follows Gibbs for a private chat (in the elevator) there's an overhead long shot of Caitlin, Tony, and Fornell's two agents. It then cuts to a shot facing Caitlin, and we can see the white mat taped to the floor with black tape (which was not in the previous shot), at the bottom of the screen. (00:22:50)

Continuity mistake: When Abby walks into the lab carrying the box with the Beretta Cougar she is barehanded, and two shots later she's wearing her latex gloves as she reaches for the bullet, but next shot she's barehanded again as she picks up the bullet to show Gibbs. Then, when Abby thanks Gibbs for getting her out of the sensitivity training, the latex gloves suddenly reappear, but they disappear in the next shot. (00:12:10)

It then cuts to a shot of the car Tony's driving, and the reflection of the camera comes into view on Tony's window as the filming vehicle pulls alongside. It's visible again in a following shot.
