Continuity mistake: After young Sam has carried the box of her belongings up to her new bedroom in the attic, she lies down on her bed and as the camera pulls back the window shade is all the way up. It cuts to a wideshot as the camera still pulls back in the rain, and the shade is lower now. (00:05:20)

Continuity mistake: After young Sam loses her father in the Northridge earthquake (noted in voiceover), she appears alone on the ball field, at home plate. In the close-up much of the area is in shadow around her, but in the next wideshot the entire area is in sunlight with only the fence/backstop casting thin shadows. (00:04:30)

Revealing mistake: After the dance, during the Mercedes vs. Jaguar "race" back to the diner, much of the entire scene takes place at the same intersection of Victory Blvd and Olive Ave, filmed from different angles. Note the Jiffy Lube and Enterprise (cars) on the corners, which are actually across the street from one another. (00:47:25)

Continuity mistake: After the dance, when Fiona and the twins are in the Jaguar, and Carter and Sam are in the Mercedes, all driving to the diner, the views of the side streets they pass change back and forth, between close-ups and wideshots. (00:47:25)

Continuity mistake: When David and Ryan force Austin to participate in the bachelorette 'Dating Game', the CD player sits on the bench beside Austin. When David introduces bachelorette 2, a yellow tape marker suddenly appears on the bench in front of the CD player, which promptly disappears in following shots. (Visible on fullscreen DVD.) Continuity mistake: After Lilly (in the Hannah wig) arrives, she and Miley enter the bedroom and Miley puts the suitcase on the chair. In following shots the suitcase has flipped over to the opposite side. (00:57:05)

Continuity mistake: When Lilly finds Miley asleep on the roof, the flat area Miley is lying on has been painted ultramarine blue (just below the cupola) as the rest of the roof. When Travis sees the painted coop that flat area is as light colored as the vertical triangular wall beside it. (Particularly noticeable when Travis rides off.)

Continuity mistake: Just after the table fire incident at the dinner, "Hannah" rushes past the housekeeper in the maintenance closet and grabs her makeup case with her right hand and reaches for her "Miley" dress and boots with her left hand. Next shot the case is in her left hand and she reaches up with her right hand. (01:13:20)

Continuity mistake: When Miley does her first quick change so she can meet Travis at the restaurant, the little white purse is on her left wrist as she walks in through the door, but next shot as Miley enters it's on her right wrist. (01:07:25)

Continuity mistake: After Blue Jeans pulls off the Hannah wig and Miley refuses to go back in the pickup truck, Miley opens her makeup case with its extendable handle facing away from Miley, but next shot she is sitting beside the case and the wig has suddenly appeared in her left hand (viewer's right) as well. Visible crew/equipment: During Lilly's sweet 16 party at Santa Monica Pier, when she is skateboarding and catches hold of Drew, in the two shots facing Lilly the reflector screen and boom mic are reflected on the helmet to Drew's left. (00:14:00)

Continuity mistake: In the dressing room, before the start of the concert at the beginning, Miley tosses her sneakers, grabs her boots, takes off her green jacket and tells her father to leave the room so she can change. In the next overhead shot, as she and Lilly fuss over the makeup, Miley wears her green jacket again. (00:02:50)

Revealing mistake: At the start, when the security cart driven by Miley and Lilly rips through the Hannah poster, the outline of the pre-cut tears are visible. (00:02:10)

Continuity mistake: During Mike's first class (before Maggie walks in), when he's on the cell with Scarlet, who is asking where he is, a cheerleader sits down behind Mike and places her right arm up with her hand at her chin and her left arm is down. However, in the next shot when she asks Mike if he would consider a 10th grader, now it's her left arm that is up and her right arm is down, instantly. (00:32:35)

Continuity mistake: After the initial meeting with Principal Masterson, when Ned and Mike, in his bedazzled shirt, stand at the top of the stairs talking about how awful Mike looks, the same teens (girl in a pink hoodie) pass them two shots later. (00:30:05)

Continuity mistake: After Ned and Jane arrive at his house, they walk toward the kitchen as he shouts, "Everyboby out!" and in the shot from behind Ned is to Jane's right then moves to her left. However, in the next shot facing them, Ned is once again on Jane's right. (01:17:35)

Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, after Ned does his wine tasting, when the waiter pours wine into Jane's glass he holds the bottle in his left hand, as his right hand holds the cloth napkin, then lifts the bottle away from the glass when he is done. Next shot as he still pours wine in Jane's glass, the wine bottle is now in his right hand as he holds the base of the bottle with his left hand. (01:11:35)

Visible crew/equipment: When Mike is in the bathroom (before he sees Alex taped up) on the cell with Ned, in Ned's two close-ups the reflection of equipment moving (likely the boom) is visible behind him between his head and feet, as he lies on the couch. (00:34:50)

Continuity mistake: Just after "Mark" tells Scarlet about Alex's new girlfriend at the victory party, there's a shot of Jane's blue car (headed to Ned's home) as it nears the intersection, which is a short distance away. It cuts to an interior shot of Jane and Ned in the car discussing 'Halo', and through Jane's open window we see the distance she is driving and the side street view. It then cuts back to the shot of them nearing the intersection and two problems arise: one, in the close-up they drive a far greater distance than they do between the exterior shots, and two, the view outside Jane's window differs as well.
