Brian in Love - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: After Lois accuses Stewie of peeing on the carpet, he asks her to bend down and slaps her with a glove. The glove remains in his hand in that cut, is still there when there is a wide shot of Peter, Stewie, Lois and Brian (you can just see it next to his trousers in his hand), but when it cuts back to Stewie and he starts on about "the outrages" etc, it is gone (the cut is instant, no time for him to put it back in his pocket). A common error, this one just struck me as strange, because the sandwich Stewie threw at Lois is there the entire scene. (00:03:35)

E. Peterbus Unum - S2-E18

Continuity mistake: When Ulysses S. "Griffin" is chugging beer with Robert E. Lee, Ulysses wins. When he says "How's that Robert E. Lee," he puts the beer glass on his head. After Robert says, "Okay no more slaves, but we still don't have to read books," the glass is in Ulysses' hand. In the next shot it's on his head again. (00:10:05)

Chitty Chitty Death Bang - S1-E3

Continuity mistake: When Meg introduces Jennifer to Lois, she is, as usual, wearing her glasses. However, right when Jennifer says, "Bye Meg," Meg is seen in the shot, and her glasses have disappeared. Her glasses are back on in the next shot.

PTV - S4-E14

Continuity mistake: When Chris is saying "I'm not supposed to tell Mom cos she'll just bitch about it" there is a door behind Lois with a box next to it. In the next shot there is a smaller box next to that box which was not there before. (00:09:00)

Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater - S2-E1

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Lois goes down to the room where Peter is dancing, Peter is wearing blue pants. After he walks over to the door and greets her, he still has blue pants. The next shot of Lois and Peter dancing has him wearing his normal green pants, but after that it goes back to blue pants for the rest of the scene. (00:11:35)

Fast Times at Buddy Cianci Jr. High - S4-E2

Factual error: At the end of Peter's trombone solo, he holds out his last note. While holding the note, he moves the slide with no change to the note whatsoever. Since the pitch of the trombone is controlled by the slide, it would be impossible for Peter to move the slide as much as he does without changing the pitch he's playing. (00:02:00)

Fat Guy Strangler - S4-E17

Continuity mistake: Just after Patrick 'kisses' his imaginary girlfriend goodbye and tells Brian to look after her, Brian switches position on the couch. In the first shot he is sitting on a crack between couch pillows, but in the next shot he is sitting in the middle of the centre pillow. (00:13:50)

Stuck Together, Torn Apart - S3-E19

Continuity mistake: In this episode, Mort Goldman shows Peter a dating video he made, saying it's how he and his wife met. He is an adult in the video, yet in an earlier episode 'The Kiss Seen Round The World', Mort's wife tells the Griffins that she met him when they were just 14.

When You Wish Upon a Weinstein - S3-E22

Peter Griffin: You better watch who you're calling a child Lois. Because if I'm a child then you know what that makes you? A paedophile, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand here and be lectured by a pervert.

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
