Yug Ylimaf - S11-E4
Deliberate mistake: The time machine reverting causes everything in life to go backwards. However, although the characters' actions are reversed, their dialogue is always spoken forwards and not backwards. (00:08:00)
Deliberate mistake: At the start of the episode, the family is watching a show called "Sherry and the Anus." When Sherry opens the door and walks in, there is a Star Wars poster hanging above Anus' dresser. However, it doesn't resemble Star Wars at all. The font is all wrong, the lettering is the wrong colour, and the ship on the front is some generic-looking spy plane and nothing like a Star Wars fighter. This was obviously done to avoid any copyright issues, as this was before the Lucas partnership later on. (00:00:07)
There's Something About Paulie - S2-E16
Deliberate mistake: At the dealership, Lois pops the hood of the red car and shows there is no engine in the vehicle. She pulls out a paper that just has a drawing of an engine. Yet moments later, Peter is able to start the car and rev a nonexistent engine and drive it a couple of feet before the wheel falls off. (00:02:40)

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
